There has always been a complete hatred for the sub blm for the WAR.
The truth is though that is the best tanking combo for a WAR all the way from levels 1 to 75.
There are two things tanks should always concentrate on:
1.) Maintaining consistent hate.
2.) Negating damage.
The main reason why I have so much confidence in this job combo is because it is very self-sufficient.
How many tanks can nuke, enfeeble, or drain stats from the mob?
A WAR/BLM can do all the above.
Drain saves a loss of much HP over long periods of time.
This combo can Drain the mobs, and with Clear Mind AND Aspir, a warrior will hardly ever run out of mp.
Now that you realize a WAR/BLM will negate most damage, you're probably wondering about hate issues though.
If you thought a PLD/WAR was the best tank for keeping hate, you were wrong.
WAR/BLM far surpasses the hate levels of a PLD. This combo does much damage to the mob, while also generating hate on the mob. Especially through powerful buffs like Ice Spikes, which deals damage, enfeebles, increases enmity, and increases parry and shield rates!
Plus, a main source of hate coudl be derived from their Nukes, and at later levels, Nukegas.
So, in conclusion, WAR/BLM is a tank that keeps consistent hate, and negates damage better than a NIN and a PLD.
WAR/BLM is NOT a gimped DRK.

Reminds me of the drk that got invited to our pty cpl months ago. Showed up drk/blm when some1 saw it and asked if he forgot to change subs after warping to jueno he said no he always subs /blm cause he nukes harder!
