Restraint TweakFollow

- The warrior ability "Restraint" will no longer prevent the user from dealing critical hits.

How much damage % was restriant giving btw. I havent touched war since the first abyssea install.

Im not sure what it actually did but i could get close to normal ws numbers after about 6 hits. Was still better to not use it. Now that there is no penalty at all im gonna use it all the time.

Well as they say, 1 is always greater then 0. Now that it can't hurt our damage there is no reason not to use it whenever possible.

did anyone ever figure out how the **** it works? is it +1% damage per hit before ws like someone theorized somewhere?

If it does work like that, could Axe/OAT or Axe/OA3 out pace Gaxe now that the crit hits aren't negated?

I haven't read anything about it. Hypothetically speaking, it should favor more hit builds, like Dual Wield with OAx weapons. Again, that also depends on if its based on per hit, or a percentage of TP return per hit, or a percentage of damage. Per round or per hit. Yadda yadda. Either way, now I can't think of any reason not to pop it every time its up.

OP: Thank Altana for this. When restraint came out I created a macro right next to my bergrecry expecting Promathia to shat some bricks.

the few times I used restraint was to use it in conjunction with our 2 hour, as restraint doesn't cancel out our 2 hour which would have been completely retarded.

Well, given the somewhat large recast, part of me wondered if the original idea was to encourage better 200-300% weaponskills. Not that people are too likely to use it that way, but that could still be considered restraint in a way.
