Increased Crit damage and rampageFollow

Has anyone worked out if the new increased crit damage trait works with rampage to make axe/axe a contender for top spot again? I was playing around with axes the other day and had my best rampages ever.

They were high enough that I was wondering if man/jug with full axe merits and a suppa would be a serious contender for top damage. I doubt it, but I think it's worth a look and my old computer can't run a parser and I'm not sure what the math on this is.

Anyone in here figured it out yet?

Edit: I'm working on the Perle set and I notice it has +2% crit rate on the body... that would play into this very nicely.

Whatever the Increased Critical Damage trait gives to Rampage also enhances Raging Rush, so that is pretty much a draw. We'll have to wait and see for another update or two, but what'll really bring Dual Wield back up (theoretically, mind you. There's still some discrepancy with skill levels) would be another level of Dual Wield, and possibly higher damage multihit axes.

As far as Perle body is concerned, probably okay for weapon skills that naturally critical, or Mighty Strike'd/lolSneak Attacked, but still seems kind of weak for a full time piece as opposed to things like the original Haub line, especially when accuracy is more important. Probably negligible, though.

No, it wont be.

Maneater/Iron Ram Pick, on the other hand, might.

To clarify: Iron Ram Pick is better than a Juggernaut, and about 1/70 of the price. It has been shown *many* times before. So if you want calculations for axe/axe, use Manny/IRP, and not Manny/jug

axe/axe will never be a contender for top damage without a strong multi-attacking axe or two. axe/ridill maybe, ridill alone probably not but also maybe, non-multi attack axe/axe no way. loses 10% haste from hasso, requires a bit more ACC/ATT from gear/buffs/food, can't meaningfully take advantage of store TP (remember, going from 6 hits to 5 between WSs is a 20% increase in WS frequency, while going from, say, 15 to 14 is only a 7% increase).
