Discounting the Amnesia which will probably never go off, and just looking at the stats... that thing probably flattens about half the Magian weapons, at the cost of being a lot harder to obtain.

We've gotten 3 of these (one of which I won the lot on and then somehow the gear dropped to a Red Mage that passed on it rather than me or the other war that lotted lower...)
That being said, it's pretty nice Base Damage not to mention the Str+. I can confirm the Amnesia does go off. One of other Warriors had it go off on a Soulflayer in Einhejar 2 nights ago.
It is not hard to obtain.

Granted, but Additional Effects aren't exactly all that reliable. What exactly is the process rate on it?

Low because of how sporadic we've noticed it to be.
Although it could have no additional effect on it and still very good.

Well i finally got mine on 4th worm and that makes 8 great axes and like 4 RNG necks for LS.
The worm aint hard really. Just Need a Good PLD/NIN tank a couple of SAM's for Darkness SC and sum BLM's for MB and sprinkle in a little healing magic to top it off. Oh and a TH4 THF helps >.>. And it respawns really fast like idk the exact time but like 15-20 mins or so I would say.
