The great axe kind of looks like someone took a smaller bladed great axe and smashed it into an anvil or brakes for a train or something. An extra level of Baddassery 101 in other words. Though, the color scheme is kind of foofy.

Admittedly, I enjoyed great swords when they were still useful (Skill chain utilization mostly), so I peaked at the design for this and it doesn't look half bad. Then I looked at the sword and was blown away by the sheer awesome that it is. THAT should be a Warrior's sword, damn it! Its basically a one handed great sword! I'd totally .dat change Joyuese and Ridill to that. In a heart beat. Holy crap.

Now, on the negative side the little flavor text makes it sound like that these weapons are supposed to be MOAR AWSUM than the current Relics. Yeah, small crowd to annoy, I understand that, but still. Can't please everyone, of course. You're either going to annoy the people who don't have relics that want something equally or more badass for less work, you're going to annoy the current owners of the high end badass item who did the hard work and don't want that work to be thrown in their face, and then if this is as difficult or harder to get then you'll annoy both pretty much.

Either way at least aesthetically they're pleasing.

All that, and all I really wanted to say that in the sandbox, Sniperhill.net SUCKS. They block torrent downloading. There goes my main hobby. Gonna have to molest a camel or something now.

Edit: Quick search on Wiki shows it to be the Finnish version of Thor's hammer. It was a boat shaped stone axe. So, credit where credit is due, Square does some decent lore research.

I'm 20/30 on Coins of Glory for the GA so I'll let you know. I'm taking a vacation from WoE for a bit first because I finished the scythe a few days ago.
