Hey people. New and just logged in yesterday. Starting out as a WAR. Figured I would post and introduce (not sure if im in the right place). Well im Nfluential on Leviathan. purchased a scythe also lol. Dont worry I already got yelled at for that and will be grabbing an axe when i log today. Well dont wanna make this long. Just thought i would drop a note while reading up in the forums. Hope to see some of youi guys ingame.

Correct answer is keep axe and Gaxe lvled. Use axe until Sturmwind(your best ws for a while). Keep using Gaxe but keep both leveled. By the time you hit 55 you will know when to use axe(rampage) and great axe respectively.

edit: Unless there is another Gaxe user in the party whom is already using SHIELD BREAK, then you can use Sturmwind too.

The reason why Shield Break is the best lower level WS is because it lowers the evasion of the monster by 40, which results in a 20% improvement in hit rate for everyone engaged.
You may be underwhelmed by the damage numbers compared to Sturmwind, but the overall increase in damage for everyone else easily makes up for the difference. And remember to use it at the beginning of the fight, even if you have to save TP from the previous mob.

Forgot I posted this lol. But I have been using sheild break like crazy. Finally made it to lvl 26 using mnk as my sub until i get nin. If anyone is looking to lvl on leviathan shoot me a tell :). But again thanx for all the info guys
