While this is on topic I've always wondered, what happens after you break 300 skill? Do you hit some sort of magical godly tier of awesomeness that's reserved only for the elite? Or is it just meaningless bullsh*t like I'm assuming it is?

Some people are really good at obtaining/hoarding gear. Some people are really good at maximizing what gear they can obtain with the time they have. Some people know thier job inside and out and stay on top of what to do from moment to moment to increase output. Its a very rare to find someone who encompasses all of this.

for h2h skill, it would give you another base damage and be very good. for every other weapon, it does nothing at all (besides for what skill always does, of course). i want to assume that's what got OP confused, b/c surely everyone knows that a 3ATT 2ACC ring sucks and nothing happens at 300 GA skill.

Never said I was confused, as in the OP I even mention that obviously a sniper ring is better then anything else in an uncapped situation.
But having 4 (or 5) str in the ring slot would be better then headsman ring, since it's more attack/fstr on lower level mobs, where acc isn't a problem. That makes sense, but I thought I'd ask just cause this damn ring makes me sad in that it has no purpose.
But alas, I can't think of anything, and I think any hidden effects would have been found by now. Guess it is inv-1 after all =(

with capped ACC, blitz ring would definitely be the way. STR, ulthalam, even lolassailant's beat headsman if ACC capped unfortunately. no idea why they released that ring, and so late in the game. seems like yet another case of SE baiting people to use bad gear.

You're all missing the glaring point in all of this. ATK and ACC are a dime a dozen, but it's nearly impossible to increase your overall GAX skill. Obviously it's better because it's a higher number. Blitz ring sucks because one is the loneliest number.
