While we're on the subject... does this macro work?
/equip neck Aqua Gorget
/ws "Raging Rush" <t>
/equip neck Chivalrous Chain
I've been using this macro ever since I've gotten Aqua, but I haven't noticed much improvement on the WS at all. Is the /wait 1 enough wait time for it to calculate into WS damage, or is it swapping out to Chiv Chain too fast?
It would make the most sense that in a series of actions in a macro, one would not execute until the previous one was executed. The one exception to this that I have run into while using rdm (2 macros in a row with 6 swap lines) is if you are in a particularly laggy situation and you hit your next macro before all of the lines in the first macro execute. At this time the second macro will execute and the first one will stop where it was. In your case, as long as you wait for the second "equipment changed" message, everything should work as intended, as the WS will not execute until you have swapped your gorget, and after the WS executes, all of the calculations have already been completed; all that is left is the animation. That's my best assumption anyway.
This is one of the main reasons I stopped macroing in loquacious earring for utsu on war. I was never patient enough to wait for the Utsu cast to execute. If you don't wait for the cast to finish you don't get the recast bonus anyway, which is the main reason I wanted it macro'd.... Anyway, since I am impatient, I always hit another macro before the end (ws or something) and my brutal earring never got swapped back in because it was at the end of a /wait in my utsu macro. So I gave up on that sh*t.
Yes I know I could make another TP macro and put an earring in there or not use PS2 but i'm not so gfy. -_-
