unsure what to doFollow

ok so i recently got a pcc after doin bcnm40 and can now move on to another bcnm for other gear i want.

my question is now that i got pcc do i need my chivilrous chain anymore, and can i sell it?
my jobs are WAR75 RNG75 BST62 and BLU51.

asking this on warrior forums as i see warrior as my main.

Keep for blu if you really want to. I like Chiv Chain for multi-hits since they get a generous acc bonus already but not enough that I'd prefer 3 dex for 5 acc.

Otherwise, just sell Chiv Chain and use spike necklace for SA spells IMO.

For a war/sam true 6-hit, PCC + Ecphoria > Chiv Chain + +5acc ring. (since Rajas and Brutal are the other necessary ingredients and using something other than these would just be dumb)

I'd even prefer PCC + Ecphoria to the Chiv Chain and one of the +7 acc rings.

I don't follow. One of the reasons the original 2h weapon boost was needed was because dual wielded weapons receive a disproportionate boost from STR compared to dual wielding lower damage weapons.

Two 48 DMG weapons or a 96 DMG weapon. Add STR+4. Now you have either two 49 DMG weapons or a 97 DMG weapon. That's an increase of about 2% damage, or an increase of about 1% damage.

For what it's worth though, Rajas isn't worth using over an accuracy+5 ring until 60.

This is an excellent point, except for the supreme versatility that is the PCC.

PCC is useful in any level cap situation, and is useable on a host of jobs.

Hauberk+1 is only useful in uncapped situations, and on 3 jobs.

If you are a career war, hauby+1.

If you like other jobs, I'd keep the PCC and save for a hauby+1 later.

Sell the PCC <.< it's more gils :D

from looking at your gear and your job levels i would definitely sell the pcc (or sell it as soon as blu hit 60). one high-priced +1 item won't make or break any build but many 'mediocre' pieces can. since you consider war your main, you can use the money from that pcc to give your war a pretty good push.

pcc = ~1.9M

dusk hands = 300k
dusk feet = 350k
fire bomblet = 900k

that will also leave you with a good chunk of change left over to upgrade pieces on your other jobs. I know pcc is a nice item but you have to look at its liquidity. besides, you can always continue to do the BCNM and keep the next one.

if you won a Lamborghini today would you keep it as your daily car or keep your normal car and sell the Lamborghini to buy a good house, new furniture, new clothes, and still have money left over?

i got the money to pick up the dusk gear now but have not bought it till my bst is high enough, another 8lvls. i dont pt alot because most people i have met through pick up pts made me dislike it so now i try to xp war in 6=8man sky pop farming pts mostly cause it is alwasy with ls/friends and it has a purpose beyond midlessly autoattack ctrl 10,9,8-alt 2 WS alt 1 rinse/repeat.
im torn on the bmbleti have a natural high dex from being mithra and 5acc from assault/exorsist i was thinking the 12att from core might benefit me a little more being str/att isnt so prevalent on mithras as dex/acc

i will jot down my stats and specifics next time im on so you number crunchers can have your fun money isnt really an issue i sit on 600+k and have the ks to make another 920k off RR

I kinda agree with he Lamborghini analogy for every day basis but in this case I strongly suggest you to keep the pcc, and here is why:

Back when I discovered that bc me and two RL friend made the necesary set up to spam it, both of them Mnk and War mains and me thinking about possible future melee jobs(and even maybe a lolrdm melee set up) thought the best idea was to keep the necks and pimp our jobs a bit and then sell and split any additional neck that we may get, the whole plan was to spam beastmen seals on UO for the rest of our ffxi lives.

Long story short, one of them quit the game before we could get the third pcc, I'm not sure how many times we did it but I know that we did it for 1 year and half straight.

It isn't easy to get a pcc from that bc, that's why even after all this time it's still worth more than one million, besides easily on lvl 33 and maybe until 70~ is the strongest "All Jobs" gear in the game.
