wow thats pretty bad lol. As a party leader I would start searching for that war's replacement asap, and as soon as they got theyre, replace that war/thf with someone non gimped.

I can't seem to find the one with ACP body that had crit/ Stp Sb on it, but worst I've seen is a lvl 65 war dual wielding some level 30 axes and HQ lvl 14 str rings, in AF and sipari body.

Being sh*tty is still a different play style.

when i made that tabarzin post i was thinking about that kind of thing and laughing. i mean, what kind of attitude leads to tabarzin? i imagine an exchange like

seriously, where does the attitude come from? "i'm gonna pay $12/month to play this game, but fucked if i'll actually play it well! you can't make me accomplish the tasks set out by my job choice. i'm gonna be me!" it blows my mind. it's like if you played a console game and there was an enemy where you had to hit it with a special sword to allow you to damage it (you know the type), and the player was like, "[shaking head] god damn it, i'm not hitting you with that item. i don't give a fuck, i know it's the only way to damage you, but i'm doing it my way. [nodding] you're going down, mother@#%^er. yea-heh, that's me, son." (player continues doing this for hours/days).

how does it happen? why? but it does. it's insane.

But when I do it, it works out pretty good.

To be fair, the gear makes alittle more sence for ballista (and his title shows he does PvP.) however, ranged acc without a xbow is still retarded if that is the case and his sub is just aweful.

It kinda looks like hes just come back from a 60cap match tbh.

Anyone else remember when trolls tried harder?

This is how it works.

I invite someone to a party, they show up in adequate gear and perform ok. Next time I'm putting one together, I'll remember them, think "Hmmm, they were solid" and invite them.

OR

They're awesome and I invite them, seeking or not.

OR

They turn up in sh*te gear, perform badly, and I add them to that longer-than-I'd-like mental list of people who I will never invite again on any job. Ever.

Believe it or not, in PVP defense is pretty @#%^ing pro.

in case this is sincere or anyone reading it foolishly agrees with it sincerely, ffxi is a cooperative game. general sh*ttiness of other players ultimately impacts you. if this were a PvP game, we'd be celebrating the stupidity of other players. however as it stands, all the dumb "i do it my way, and by my way i mean wearing severely worse gear that costs more than good gear," people end up in parties with us, and we're forced to either kick them or let them leech/destroy our party.

also people are bored and posting on messageboards. i don't know. also if you don't cap stats in ff8 ur a noob lewlz
