Celata vs TurbanFollow

Hey all, I'm considering a comeback and if I can get my old guy brought back I'll be picking up the GA again. I've been kicking around gear rigs and considering what I can and cannot do without until I get a full set up.

For the most part, I'll be sticking to the standard gear for a war 75. I do have SAM 37, NIN 37, DNC 37, THF 25 available as well. BUT! I have run into a problem here.

Celata vs. Walahra Turban?

Celata: Def 22, Acc +3, Att +4, Eva -2
Walahra Turban: Def 0, HP +30, MP +30, Haste +5%

Now, I have no haste gear besides this. That said, every rig has it's first piece of haste gear. At what point do I make the switch between these head pieces? And is it a constant switch? After all, the big kitty in the sky is harder to hit than the birds at the merit camp.

I'd still use the Turban on it's own over the Celata or O-Hat (sans WS, of course), especially as lolgaxe said, you'll be getting Haste/Marches more often than not and filling in your hands/feet/legs/waist with more Haste gear as you grow, which makes the Haste that much more potent. Unless your acc is absolutely abysmal.

On the other hand, for tougher stuff, like Byakko, as you mentioned (and any NM over ~Lv85 really) most of us still swap in a lot of acc gear over Haste, depending on acc buffs/merits/Feint/sh*t's situational.

If I remember right your acc has to be something like 70% for an Ohat to beat walmart. So For a celata to beat it it would be a whole lot lower.

In conclusion, Walahra Turbin>all.
