So, I've recently dinged 75 on WAR, and am looking to get into endgame but I have a few questions...
Let me start off by saying that my gear is just run of the mill just dinged 75 crap... Is that good enough to start doing events like Sky and Dynamis?
Also, I plan to level NIN to 75 pretty soon, and I know it's going to cost me a lot of gil, especially right off the start. As a poor WAR here, I don't know much about making gil, but I've managed to scrape by... Now that I have two jobs that need gil, I don't know where the money should go... Should I buy Okote or Ohat? Fuma's or Dusk feet? etc etc... Basically, I don't know whether I should invest in WAR or NIN right now. I'm confused ; ; (If it helps I like playing NIN a hell of a lot more)
And finally, merits! So far I've got a 4/3/3 build on DA/B/A, and I don't know what else I should merit... Is it up to me or is there something specific I should really focus on?

what level is your nin?

walahra turban
hauby
dusk gloves
haidates
rings - rajas and acc
swift belt
amemet mantel+1
suppanomimi
brutal earring
peacock charm/chiv chain
fire bomblet
ohat
some of those things may be feasible for you and some may not. point being, try for gear that overlaps as a priority, then work your way into other slots.

Focus on stuff that both jobs can wear for now.
[Byakko's Haidate, Optical Hat, Dusk Gloves, Swift Belt]
It's great to have two jobs that share some of the better end-game gear, both because obviously it saves inventory, and because depending on your linkshell's way of doing things you could be put higher for priority.
As far as merits go, same thing as above, start with the stuff that both jobs will benefit from -
[CRIT Rate, STR, HP]
as far as Warrior merits go, cap your Great Axe, and if you choose (I did), Sword and Axe work depending, but worry about those later as you will have Katana to max for your Ninja.
For group two I went with Warrior's Charge and Tomahawk, ask some Ninjas what to do there.

Since you'll be lvling NIN while enhancing your WAR performace , I think you should focus more on your WAR since that will help your NIN anyway when you reach NIN75.
Personal opinion: get your WAR into acceptable lvl of performance before lvling NIN, Farm/Quest/BC whatever you can to save gils ( camp Okote , farm eyes for Ohat, ZNM for aurum feet instead of dusk , camp low lvl fuma and KSNM high lvl one )

Ochiudo's Kote are the biggest investment really. Same goes for Fumas.

Right now my NIN is only at 37, so not much of the gear I would use (except for maybe Sniper's Ring and Swift Belt) will overlap. I've been holding off on leveling it at all until I farm Okote and Kyahan, so I guess holding off any longer won't hurt.
