Does anyone ever use Full Break for anything? I normally use RR, FB, and SC al together. Sometimes My RR does unsatisfying damage while FB sometimes surprises me. I have done RR and only put in 300-500 dmg, while FB did 300-500 also and left the satisfying taste of the atk/acc/def/evade down stats on the mob. I happen to be galkan and get that extra bonus of the VIT Mod from FB which RR doesnt give.
Many people are always greedy for the big hit WS and never think about the indirect usefullness of WS (like when i first got savage blade and thought it was horrible until a friend needed ws points and i was able to give him LVL 3's)
My questions are, if you have WAR do you use FB and does it work for you?
and if your not a WAR has one ever used it and you felt good taking advantage of the debuffed mob?

For merits and stuff you should be mega-buffed enough that you dont need the minus stats of fb and RR will do better over time by far.
For other situations, it has it's uses, but there are almos talways better ways to give the mob -stats that allow you to take advantage of those minus stats with RR and not waste tp debuffing the mob.
I used to use armorbreak in assault sometimes for the good of the pt, but then I hit 75 and got some merits. Now someone else is the debuff bitch and I get to wave by big voulge-like epeen about the place.

I use Full Break sometimes, mostly in besieged, or to help people break weapons. But whenever I don't want to be tanking something for some reason or another and I know I am gonna be taking hate, I may use a break.

I'd only use it on things that need debuffs to make manageable, and with the off chance that somehow there's no mages, thieves, or dragoons to do the actual debuffing. It's useful on paper, just not very much so in practice.

Steel Cyclone is better for opening AND closing Darkness for mnks. The only reason I use full break for SCing is cuz EP mobs get kilt by 600+ dmg WS too fast.

Hmm I remember using full break on Lizards in DoR back before the 2H buff. Was a nice XP PT 67-69 I think.. (fuzzy memory). Anyway its decent damage and stat down effect, on anything that lasts more then 60s I'd say its worth using at the start of the fight. In merits... yeah right RR/KJ all the way. ^^

I've sometimes used it in dynamis so I wouldn't die as much (lack of buffer). Or when I was unlocking KJ solo as WAR/SAM on Vunkrel Inlet crabs for the off chance ATK down would actually stick. The other breaks work too, but Full Break looks prettier. DEF food + defender + retaliation + full time hasso + regen gear/sigil and occasional Sprite was enough to kill constantly and WS many times per fight. After getting cured to full from a sprite, I'd fight two at a time with aggressor + haub + retaliation and WS spam would ensue. SE/TE was rarely needed.
