Lol @ my dusk feet?Follow

I was lol'ed at the other day for wearing dusk feet on my TP set. I was told that the +1% double attack on the AF feet was better than the +2% haste and +4 attack on Dusk. Discuss.

The person that told you that is an idiot and WARs using AF feet at endgame should get shot on site.

I would answer with just 3 words: NO WRONG DIE.

But if you want the specifics....

Even if you didn't have any DA or HASTE even there 2% Haste are better than 1% DA, no matter the situation, non-DA-HASTE-related-buffs, etc.

Why?

2% haste reduces your delay to 98% of its normal time resulting in:
100/98 = 1.0204081632653061224489795918367(every decimal there is just to show that it's a bit over 2% increment)
Haste is soooooo nice, fancy and cute, that the more you stack the better it gets, but even in the worst situation still dusk boots give you more bang for your buck than AF period.

AF's 1% double attack gives you back 1% extra attacks resulting in a flat 1% increment if you don't have any other DA, in which case decreasing returns(forbidden term that you should not ask us to elaborate about) will render DA less desirable, in short the more DA you have the less each +DA counts.

Besides Duks has attack which is better than AGI +3(I don't think is necessary to go deeper here)

Any more, there is only but a small window where wearing the AF feet is still acceptable, and that's from level 52 to 55.

Under no circumstance unless you somehow are at the gear haste cap without them (which is impossible, since war don't have access to enough haste to hit the gear cap without using a weapon that has haste on it) would the AF feet possibly be acceptable over the Dusk Ledelsens, and even that is questionable.
