Lowbie Tanking :: World of Warcraft

Ok - So, my warrior (and highest character) is lvl 18. I know how to tank as NiN since it was my first character to 75 before I quite 3yrs ago. However, now that I am having to start from scatch I have a question.

I plan on taking warrior to 37 and use as a sub (I may level higer later once I get NiN leveled some). However, my quesiton is, after reading some other posts - what gear set up should I use to tank with up to 37. I saw a post that suggested Gaxe with shield break. Is this so for all parties up to lvl 37?

Gear for DD, as most of it is heavy enough to double as tank gear, and doing damage is Warrior's main form of hate gain. Shield Break will make fights shorter, which will make tanking a little easier to deal with. Warrior is great at tanking short fights as long as you can spike your hate initially. Shield Break at the start of the fight, provoke, and use Warcry to pump your hate level higher.

Your goal is to kill as fast as possible, essentially.

Also, look out for some nice and affordable pieces in the 20s. Especially republic subligar, which you can wear for at least 15 levels.
