Level 99 and main subjobs. :: World of Warcraft

I'm really out of touch with Mage jobs, so I'm wondering what Blm's most used subjobs are now that the cap's reached 99. I'm guessing mostly the other mages, but I don't know what one to use over the others and for what reasons. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Still /RDM for almost everything. /WHM gives you a few more support options if you need them, /BRD can be used for procs, and you might find a few special applications for /SCH and /NIN as well.

/RDM for general BLMing now that it has Cure IV for support and Haste for Stun duty. Special mention for /SCH, /BRD, and /DRK for proc spells/JA, especially nice in VW to keep the procs from getting jammed up. /WHM is good for Stona and that's about all I can think of.

I've been really enjoying /SCH for most situations myself; it's actually more MP efficient than /RDM in the long run if you're using JAs to their full potential. When soloing mobs with MP, AOE Aspir is godly. But as stated by VxSote, /RDM now gets Cure IV and Haste which obviously has advantages in many situations.

They don't. You just get nice boost in dmg with the weather spells.

They don't. You just get nice boost in dmg with the weather spells.

I wasn't talking about the weather requirement trials; there are only a couple of them and they go by quickly. I was talking about the later trials that are based on killshots with x amount of elemental damage. Always having the weather bonus for them would be nice.
