Mana wall and gearFollow
So mana wall reduces damage taken by 50%. This is the cap. Is all damage taken- gear useless while using it, or do they stack for some reason. If so does it cap at 75% reductions? (half damage taken from 50% down on gear, then mana wall halving the rest.)

They stack. 50% and 50% = 75% reduction.
AF3+1 feet turn it from 50% to 55%, AF3+2 turns it from 50% to 60%. So you're looking at a maximum of 80% reduction converting HP damage into MP damage. An Attack that would do 1000 damage would instead do 200 damage.
All of this likely stacks with Scherzo and Earthen Armor, which means you can get another ~-80% to turn a 1000 HP damage attack into a 40 MP damage attack.

Didnt know that manawall did 50% dmg reduction... I Thought it was 100%. Nice to know know lol. That explains why I still died when I used manawall when it first came out and died. I was like WTFZ!? I HAD DE WALL ON!
If you would take 1000 HP in damage naked, with Manawall on naked you would take 500 MP in damage. When you run out of MP, Manawall wears off and you take HP damage at the normal rate again.
