What is your prefered setup with the New staffs and Atmas?

I am using
Varuna +2 Beyond MM and Ultimate

doing aprox 4800 - 5500 on regular mobs.

head Goe +1
body Goe +1
hands Ahands
legs Goe +2
feet Goe +1
Grip Elementa Grip
Ammo Witches stone
Back Searing Cape
Waist Searing Sash
Ring 1 Tamas
Ring 2 Sorcerer's Ring
Neck Goetia Chain

You have the 3 ideal nuking atmas right there. If I am being more of a grellow-bitch, I may choose to replace one or both of Beyond/Ultimate with additional Refresh atmas, but that's about it. Minikin is a full-timer.

No Goetia Gloves +1 yet?

Why not Bugard Strap +1? It doesn't look like you're lacking for magic acc.

Cognition belt is a better, cheaper option.

Sorcerer's ring is very EASY to proc in abyssea. Cruor buffs can be clicked off but come right back afterwards, so all you have to do is click your maximum hp cruor buff off, and the moment it returns your hp will be 50%. From there just throw on a few cures and you'll be at yellow with an activated sorcer's latent. No gear swapping is required.

From what I've read, the HP cruor buff does not increase the Sorcerer's Ring latent threshold. If you need 852 HP outside of Abyssea to trigger Sorcerer's Ring, you'll still need 852 HP to trigger it inside Abyssea with cruor buffs.

So you need to swap in minus HP gear, click the max HP cruor buff, and then you can switch back to nuking gear.

Maybe I should have re-phrased that. It's not worth the effort to proc. it, IMHO. Also what was said above, you need the same HP to activate it as outside Abyss.

Goe hands +1 not yet next on my list of things to get.

Searing sash was a free drop. so I dont know about cheaper. but I have been looking at the cog belt.

Elementa grip was what I chose to eliminate all the different elemental grips that i had that was +2 element acc.

why not buggard +1? no reason other than hadnt thought about it.

How is 10k not cheaper than 200k? Upgrade and make yourself a nice little profit. ^^

Except that keeping the searing sash still has an opportunity cost of 200k*, even if you got it for free. Hence the 10k to 0k comparison is not a valid comparison.

*30k on Unicorn, lol.
