7 elemental staves
4 grips 3 elemental + 1 other grip
1 Phantom tathlum
3 Head pieces (Goliard, Demon, Igqira)
3 Neck pieces (Spider, elemental, uggalepih)
4 Earrings (Nuke and rest pices)
3 Body pieces (Refresh, Weskit, Errant)
2 Hand Pieces (Goliard, AF)
2 Rings
1 Back
2 Belts (Qiqirn / Penitent)
3 Legs (AF, Errant, Igqira)
2 Feet Pieces (Goliard, Cobra)
That means 36 gear pieces for BLM only, as its my only mage job currently. And i am still missing a *lot* ( IE, 3~4 pieces on a anfeebling set, a couple on a max damage nuke set, a whole Stoneskin set...), all of those being simply extra inventory spaces and no upgrades for what i have.
How you guys manage to lug around all your stuff?
And, more important, why the hel we have such low STR? I am pretty sure that it should be higher just from carrying stuff around...

Don't forget the several obis most career BLMs carry around. :P
Honestly, they need to just add a god damn quest that allows you to combined your NQ elemental staves/HQ elemental staves into one staff called rainbow/prism staff because they obviously don't care about mage weapons...LV 51 staves being the best mage weapons for 6 years+ kinda hints at that. Then, they should do the same thing for grips and obis. If they did something for instruments and ninja tools that'd be thurper too.
When using my BLM or RDM, I usually am up to 68~69/70 inventory slots and that is with some of the situational gear (obis) in satchel. It isn't too terribly efficient...good luck doing something like a BCNM that requires 6~8 free slots if it is your orb, your loot much less anything else.

Thats not even to meantion your dark skill set(aspir/drain) your stun set(if you use one)your sorc. latent set, your idle set(if you use one), like someone mentioned your obi set, skill set, a Hmp set, drinks,RR items, echo drops(never leave home w/o them coz you just never know.) Shadows if /nin, foods (melon+1/puffs) ...you get the point
..........but most importantly you need to make room for......your town gear /nod.
Like i said, im still missing a *lot*
and my stachel space is already gone.
I Just use refresh + Earth staff for standing set
Nothing on Dark skill besides AF pants though. And no Haste on Stun Set yet, although i should start bringing a turban since i have it anyways...

See, it's all about knowing what you'll need for the fight you are about to do. I don't carry everything around with me at once (though I probably will start once I get a Satchel), I only carry what I need, leaving certain obis at home, or my enfeebling set if I know I won't be enfeebling etc. etc.
Satchel has all my blm gear in it along with Cor. On the go anywhere gear if you want to dish out the $10. I think its worth the aggrivation you will not have to deal with.

I carry most of my gear around, because I never know what else Ill be doing or if something comes up or ppl change plans. I hate having to warp back, go through each storage section and grab my gear and then regroup again. Rather just have my stuff ready and be ready to go. Kinda get use to that when you do HNMs, after that its hard to break away from that mold.
I just keep 2 fulls jobs including consumables on me at all times, and I always have room /w satchel. If you don't have a satchel, get one.

I love having all my situation gear with me. before satchel I only had 1 free invintory spot(69/70) that included food KS/BS and a LS pearl, other than that it was all blm gear, and some left back at the mog. Now with satchel I still have invintory problems but atleast I can carry it all with me lol.

idk... I only use my water staff for poison, which isnt very often. Thats my least used staff, but I still lug it around for stoneskin. (I know, I know...)

Depends on if you have Kirin's Pole or alternative MND weapon for SS/Blink/+MND set. If not water/neptunes is (or should be) regularly used.
