Just a note on the Tier 3 spells...they do sell in Lower Jeuno magic shop, but, on Carbuncle at least, they sell in the AH for about 3k instead of 20 - 40k in the shop. Better to get em on the AH.

I'm sure this information is useful to all Black Magic users since it's all in one place. What do you think of asking the administrators to make this a sticky? I don't know how to do that myself, and I'm not sure if that's even what you're supposed to do. If it is, then I vote for this to be a sticky so it doesn't get lost in the forums and new people keep asking where spell X is located.

Thoughts?

Nice I have an excel spreadsheet with most of this info on it if anyone would like a copy go here: http://www.geocities.com/areios/blm_spells.xls

It's free web hosting so I don't know how often it'll be up. If someone else would like to host this please feel free to. If you would like to print a copy make sure to set you paper layout to Landscape and set you left and right margins to .5".

Most of the info was taken from Mysterytour, so kudo's to those guys ^^

Very nice. Question though, who do I talk to for the Sleepga II quest in Lower Jeuno? I searched this site for sleepga II spell, but it doesn't say or show how to get it. Thank you.

Illiterati:

Here is the link on this site that tell what NPC to talk to and what to do to get the Sleepga II spell. NPC's name is Illumida according to Allakhazam.

http://ffxi.allakhazam.com/db/quests.html?realm=Jeuno&fquest=425

It says that the NPC is in Upper Jeuno, but you indicated that you were looking in Lower Jeuno. Check out Upper Jeuno for the the NPC.

Great job man except for two thing you might want to add concerning a couple of the spells. Two or three of the AM spells can be coffered in Davoi i believe (i had them written down a piece of paper but lost it) and the Orcish Hexspinner drops Water IV as well.

Other than that, awesome job!

This was very handy thing to have thought of and put the time into it to share with other BLM's. I did notice that i could put the font to 6 and it still printed on one page. The problem was that 5 was too small for me.

Thanks a million. Any information as to what area certain mobs that drop spells are? For example, it sayd that Tractor is dropped off Wights. Wights where? (If there are only Wights in Qufim then I'm sorry for being stupid) Same with Banshee... where? This, too would be helpful so I can hunt these mobs down when I have the chance.

Otherwise. EXCELLENT post. ^.^
