ok i have a question about sub-jobs

first im going to be a black mage as my main job and planning to be red mage as sub-job.

so heres my question: can i use my red mage skills that i learn when black mage is my main job

example my black mage is low on health(black mage = main) and my red mage (sub-job) knows cure will i be able to use cure even though the red mage in not the main

If RDM (or WHM) is your sub then u can cast cure. Mixing abilities is the fun part and the power of subing. Currently I am subbing WHM, but RDM is cool because you get passive fast cast.
