In Windurst Port there's a boat with all the spells you can buy (non-AH) up to 20th lvl or so

Also note, that the conquest rank of your nation affects how many scrolls are available at the stores in town.

Does anyone know if the scrolls available are always the same when your nation is Rank 1, Rank 2 or Rank 3?

Example of my question, lets say your nation is Rank 3 one week and the store sells poison, bio, stone, water and fire. Two weeks later, your nation is once again Rank 3, will the store again sell those exact same scrolls or are the available scrolls randomly generated?

Not sure about other shops, but the spell shop always has the same spells, regardless of nation rank or anything else.

Try the auction house. I don't know the prices on your server but all the ones I've needed were purchased there at around the same cost as the shop. Plus, you save time by not having to travel from shop to shop.

Blind drops from caster monsters, or can be bought in the AH. Ditto for level 7 bind, which is probably the most valuable spell you will ever get (except perhaps for warp).

If you just kill a few goblin weavers or other casters you will probably get them fairly soon.

Blind and bind are available for purchase at those shops on the dock if/when your nation's rank is #1 (might be available at #2 also). I've only seen the Windhurst scroll supply when we were Rank #1 and Rank #3. At Rank #1, there is at least 1 extra page of scrolls available for purchase (blind & bind included).

Conquest Status *does* affect spell availability in spell shops. One example I've seen proof of is this. Drain. Drain is a quest only spell (the quest in San d'Oria) except when Windhurst is Rank #1 Overall (checkable on your "region map"). When Windhurst has Rank #1 Overall, Drain is available from the Port magic shop, but at no other time (meaning Rank #2 = no Drain, Rank #3 = no Drain).

That's the only one I *know* to be true. I was talking on the phone to a friend of mine on a different server, he bought drain from the Windhurst shop (he was also *from* Windhurst). I happily (on my server, where Windhurst is in last place for conquest) hiked over to Windhurst at level 17, dodging this, that, and the other, and was all excited to get Drain. It was a wasted walk. I later found out that it was due to the Conquest Rank. I called my friend, he checked it, and sure enough, Windhurst was #1 on his server, and sold drain, but on my server, it was #3 and did not. A week later, Windhurst was Rank 2 on his server and no longer sold Drain.

Can anyone tell me if different spells have different ranges? It seems like Stone can be cast from farther away than water? If so which spell has the longest range?
