Been waiting for awhile for info on this haven't seen it. Anyone got the dirt on what the set effect does?
Additionally anyone know what the body does to addendum?

Rocking Phantasy star online 2. And loving it! Hopefully sega get's it right this time. They are having a much better start this go around then Universe but still a ways off calling it a hot contender in today's MMO market.
I don't know the addendum effect, but I do know the set effect. If you cast a spell under the correct arts, it has a chance to fire off the spell at 0 mp cost instantly. Any spell that procs this effect also has no recast afterward, so it can be cast again. In other words, its a single cast chainspell manafont.
Honestly the set bonus kind of annoys me. While it may be neat in situations where you're just throwing out spells, in situations where you're trying to skillchain with immanence or magic burst it is going to throw off the timing. I'm also not inclined to go out and download spellcast just so my AF3 doesn't screw me up when I'm doing something specific, and then make another set of nuke macros when I wouldn't mind the spell firing off immediately.
As cool as the set bonus sounds it really stinks that scholar is the only job I can think of where having the set bonus kick in ends up hurting the job more then helping it.

While I can see that's a problem with immanence I don't agree with magic burst. If it's instantaneous with no problem caused to recast timer. Simply start casting the spell again. Unless your really really really really REALLY slow on the trigger you should still magic burst even with a 1-3 second delay.
With immanence even without set bonus I prefer to open since it's much easier to tell a dd WEAPON SKILL AFTER YOU SEE THIS SPELL. Then to try to time it with the dd and hope no one else screws up the skill chain.

My problem is there's no spells where I have the set on for precast anyway so it never fires for me
