Hello fellow Scholars. I didn't see a post anywhere about the "Enhances "Klimaform" effect stat on the af3+1 feet so I thought I'd run out and do a little testing myself. I only did a few tests using Thunder I on some low level mobs in Sauromugue Champaaign but I noticed about a 5% increase in damage when equipping the feet during Klimaform. I had Thunderstorm cast on myself and I equipped the obi to guarantee the weather proc. The only other gear I had equipped was Goliard Saio, Walmart Turban and Loq. Earring for haste. It was firesday and I subbed RDM.
Test 1 - Moon Bat
No Klim - 183 183
Klimaform - 192 192
Test 2 - Goblin Smithy
No Klim - 178 178
Klimafrom - 186 186
Test 3 - Tabar Beak
No Kilm - 199 199 199
Klimaform - 208 208
Has anyone else noticed a similar (or different) effect?
Edit: And of course, as I check wiki the page for the feet has been updated! Just the luck isn't it :)

Two problems:
-You don't seem to have accounted for the 6 INT on the loafers, which could account for the damage increase you observed
-A bonus to damage would be an "augment" to klimaform rather than an "enhancement"
Suggestion:
Repeat your casts (and you only need 1 with and 1 without) wearing +6 int in gear when you're not wearing the loafers.
Edit: I used your moon bat values with the bash magic damage calculator, and the +6 on the feet does result in the increase reported. As such, I'd assume that the klimaform enhancement is simply a boost to magic accuracy.

You misread my post and that is partly due to the fact that I was not very clear in my writing. The 6INT on the feet is accounted for because I never removed them during casts. The only variable I changed was either having klimaform up or not having it up. The feet were on during all casts.
Secondly, while you are correct that most of the time the use of "enhances" would not yield such a result, that is not the case here. Others have also found similar results with the loafers +1 as well.

Ok, cool, jumped the gun a bit there =x that "equipping the feet during klimaform" part threw me.
I guess that just leaves the question of how the damage is being increased; tempting to assume +5 MAB.

On the wiki it says applied before MAB, is this true? I just got these today and did 3570 w/o klimaform and 3747 w/ which is very close to 5%. I was using windy and beyond atmas, had tonic and cream puff on iceday vs frigate birds w/ uggy proc'd.

There essentially are three possibilities for that bonus:
a) A 1.05 multiplier applied before MAB.
b) MAB+5
c) A 1.05 multiplier applied after MAB.
Same setup for every shot: SCH85/WHM42, 81+47 INT, Rainstorm, Water V on Huge Hornet in South Gustaberg.
Without any MAB gear, without Klimaform: 960 damage [1].
With MAB+27 in gear, with Klimaform: 1280 damage [2] (1407 damage with weather proc [3]).
Now let's do some math.
a) floor(floor(960 * 1.05) * 1.27) = floor(1008 * 1.27) = 1280
b) floor(960 * 1.32) = 1267
c) floor(floor(960 * 1.27) * 1.05) = floor(1219 * 1.05) = 1279
Out of the three given ways to apply the bonus granted by Savant's Loafers +1, only a) matches the observed numbers (though c) is very, very close, so you might prefer to not rule it out entirely without bigger nukes to widen the gap between a) and c) for proving). So even if you don't believe me saying it's a 1.05 multiplier applied before MAB, it's pretty safe to say it is not a straight MAB+5.
