Displays party enmity levels as a percentage. Haven's used in a fight yet, but could be handy when fighting NMs and such. I doubt so, but I hope it works on alliances.

Libra in practice. Haven't tested Alli yet

Edit: Put Epi in a pt by himself in alliance and did it again, only gave info for kat and myself. So doesn't work on alli.

It has a pretty short range (10'). So you have to actually get close to use it.

Also, you can't claim with it, nor use it on mobs without enmity. Altho it seems to work on goldfishes when they start following you around, says you have 100% enmity <_<

doesn'T work on alliance as yesterday in Walk of Echoes it only displayed Party Member but not alliance. It's a nice gimmick to use if you're bored or just want to fill your screen with animations and text.
I do hope though that we will find uses for it. Maybe SE's going to give us spells working and altering enmity in the future, could be handy by then.

It's interesting to finally see the rates of enmity, but how could you use this tactically?

My guess would be put us in the BLM party for say an endgame boss and let whatever BLM knows they are getting close to pulling hate? That is about all i can see is to warn someone to cut on DD for a little.

I was just randomly thinking, it would be cool if SE would give us an Enmity-loss Helix spell, since helices are our specialty. It would act like any other of the helices, except that you would cast it on a party member instead of a mob. Every 10 seconds, a certain amount of CE/VE enmity would be wiped from the mobs' hate list for the selected player. Modus Veritas would affect the spell as it does for any other helix.

If anyone is interested in putting their new job ability to use, there's a blu spell, hydro shot, that claims to have "additional effect: enmity down", but no one has ever been able to tell what, if anything, it's even doing.

You would have thought that with all these new mobs that have secret weaknesses to exploit, such as monsters in WoE and Abyssea, Libra would have worked to expose those.

Maybe Sch will get Detect/Scan in the future instead.

lol, kanican already had libra powers before SE gave it to the rest of us.

SE is just adjusting the player curve by implementing it.

Except that Kanican is precise. SE's libra just gives a percentage that tells us nothing we didn't already know.

Kanican = Impossible to Gauge; Libra = Too weak to be worthwhile.

Honestly, if only Libra had worked on the entire alliance, instead of only on a single party, it could have been useful to let the BLMs know when they're getting too close to the tank's hate, for example. But, since outside of endgame targets, controlling enmity is not a big issue now, the ability it's pretty pointless.

...At least I have fun from time to time using it when we're farming in abyssea :P

Does libra work on pets? It might be nice to get off ventriloquy before an automaton actually takes hate. That would work if the automaton is approaching that kind of hate and the player has relatively little hate.

However, unless it is a fully merited ranger automaton it mainly takes hate after using a TP move. Puppetmasters know to use ventriloquy when it uses a TP move early in a battle, so I guess it really isnt that useful. I dont see a much of a use for it with other pet jobs.

If they are making us into the Tacticians that were suppose to be like in the Crystal war. I think these would be nice.

Scan Ability: Detects mobs current hps, and weakness and such. Not sure why they don't give us this with Libra. Recast timer 10 seconds

Black Grimiore Ability: Allows the use of a Stratagem not related to that particular Grimiore. Removes penalitys from opposite Grimiores and permits use of Addendum White and Black spells. Granted we have Enlightment but this would let us use a Stratagem with any spell.

Duration 30 seconds Recast Timer: 5 mins

These to go with the Libra ability and a exclusive spell since BLM is getting Meteor i think:

Enmity Increase spell: Increase the enmity of the player this is used on by x amount.

Decrease enmity spell: decreases the enmity of the player this is used on by x amount.

Ultima: The ultimate magical attack believed lost centuries ago. MP Cost: 400mp+
