According to the wiki, Brilliantine can drop of Temenos Northern tower. Specifically the 1rst, 5th 6th and 7th floors.
But now I am at 0/17 on soloing the first floor, and 0/4 on doing a full run picking items on those 4 floors.
It's getting really annoying, specially since it's the third Apollyon item that I've had to trash simply because temenos won't put out.
So my question is, can anyone confirm that it can indeed drop of the first floor; or am I simply wasting my time?
Also, in what other zones can it drop? I've heard of it dropping in other areas but no confirmation so far.

It does indeed drop from Temenos North 1st floor item chest. My duo partner and I recently got it to drop two runs in a row.
Brilliantine seemed more rare from that chest in the past. We used to get the NIN item a lot.

I can also confirm that the brilliantine does drop from there. I can also confirm that the drop rate is beyond retardedly horrible. I'd seen multiple drops from every single job that drops on that floor except sch. I got my first Sch item from there @ around 1/14. Since then I've easily done 40+ more runs, and have still turned up empty handed. Once I got to 0/50ish i finally said screw it and gave up for the time being.

Similar story here, I've gotten 1 from there on my 5th run, and haven't seen one since.
