Scholar's Pants IssueFollow

Hey everyone,

I already called a GM who confirmed that it's not a glitch, so I was hoping the friendly people over at Allakhazam could help me troubleshoot.

Here's the deal: I have the quest to get the items for the Scholar's Pants flagged from Loussaire (Get Slug Mucus and a Djinn Ember). I got my last piece of AF (Scholar's Gown) on the 14th of this month. I found the Indescript Markings in Pashhow Marshlands (S) during clear weather at G-6 but kept getting the message:

"Tracks indicate that something passed through here.
The imprints are slimy and disgusting..."

But no key item. I waited until right after rainy weather ended to check 'em, still no luck. The Indescript Markings disappear during any sort of weather, and reappear in the same spot if they haven't been used. I still can't seem to get anything out of 'em, even after logging on and off.

I dunno what to do. Any suggestions? I saw on another website that said the place to get the slug mucus is Jugner (S), but FFXI wiki and Allakhazam both say Pashhow.

Try getting the djinn ember first or talking to the npc again. Maybe something didn't register server side. Also double check your position because there a second set of indescript markings on another part of the map for peisti crap.
