Ok, so I was looking at getting the Royal Redingote and tweaking it into a Weskit-like concoction. So, obviously going to toss on MAB +5 without a doubt.

My issue is the second stat. On the one hand, Fast Cast, on the other, Magical Acc.

I like the idea of Fast Cast, but at the same time, Acc is always nice...

What would you do? Which enhancements would you put on it? OR and I doubt anyone will say this but... Would you skip this armor for another piece?

I'm happy with my Morgana's Cotehardie to tell the truth.

I'll probably get redingote anyway, just to have it, but i doubt i'll replace morgana's in my full dmg setup

When I first found out about ACP body I was looking at MAB/MACC but then I started doing builds and it doesn't offer enough MACC to be able to make it an HNM nuking piece without using an AV drop. Which left me wondering what the point of getting MACC if its only gonna be good enough to be an EXP/NM armor so I decided MAB/FC since if I need MACC I'd use AF.

That being said the math calculated leaves the body only slightly beating Mahatma for Tier IVs which has me considering using the reward for another job like COR since I've started leveling that and the body for COR is actually very powerful instead of only slightly more powerful and nice looking for SCH.

I've been considering buying that morgana's cotehardie. How would you say it performs compared to errant? Is the macc-8 noticeable increase in resists on exp mobs?

As for topic, I'm not wasting my ACP body (once I get the expansion... probably in a few months...) for mab, macc or fast cast ^_^;; something for my pup, yes please!

MAB and M.Accu have to go together if you want superior TIV piece than Errant.

Without the M.Accu it becomes a piece with slightly more damage but half the added Accuracy. Essentially it becomes a weaker M.Cortehide.
With both it becomes slightly better on both areas (Unless you're still below mob INT+10). Which means it'll replace Errant for TIV on almost everything.

The upgrade however, is pretty Marginal. And I'd recommend to only go this route if you're serious about SCH.
I seriously think that the best thing this body has to offer as a superior nuking piece is that it has +MP on it; something that is extremely rare on SCH's Max damage gear. To put into perspective, with full MP merits my max damage gear puts me at 696 MP as a hume at the moment.
So more Damage + More mp seems like a winner for me.

Soloing Om'Phuabo in sea I saw maybe 5 resists in about 250 nukes.

I have 2/5 elemental skill merits, so that makes up half the macc loss, but honestly if I can show a 2% resist rate on T-VT mobs I'm pretty happy with it.

I still have my Errant if I need it, but I've stuck to full-timing cotehardie in my max dmg build and it's great.

Hume 75SCH/RDM, 70 base int, 2 ele skill merits.

With 8/8 Elemental merits and 5/5 INT merits, I parsed 7 resists in 300 Tier4 nukes against puddings. I went ahead and got the ACP body with MAB/Macc and I use it for Tier3 nukes while soloing. I also went for this piece because Macc wise this parses above Weskit for BLM, so it kinda goes well with 2 of the jobs I play more often. Since the final mission is very easy, I will probably end up getting the COR body or PLD body eventually though.

Thanks Alex and haleoale, rate ups for you both. ^_^ I think I'll get the cotehardie then, I have 8 elemental merits but no int merits (too lazy~).
