As I've been soloing and duoing my way to SCH12, I have been on Dark Arts most of the time. So even if I had cared about Paralyze (and enfeebling magic in general), I would have been "right" being on Dark Arts swapping, swapping in MND+ gear for Paralyze. But now, as partying gets closer, I figure I probably will be doing the healing job more often, thus being on Light Arts and Addendum: White.
My style of playing a WHM mostly consists of getting enfeebling magic, especially Paralyze to stick and use the extra time I gained from the mob not attacking to have Regen II do its dirty work. You could call that "proactive", I guess.
Now the WHM enfeebling magic rating being at C isn't particularly great, but SCH's is even worse at D when on Light Arts. So I wonder how much a difference between Light Arts (D) and Dark Arts (B+) there is. Should I even bother about enfeebling magic or just play the "reactive" curebot that I'm not used to be, given that I will be resisted oftentimes?
I have already even thought about being on Dark Arts solely for enfeebling magic B+ and bearing the 20%+ on MP cost and (re)casting time. That probably was the most stupid idea I've ever had... ;-)
If this has already been answered before, please bear with me, because I haven't found anything. In fact, I just don't want to **** up on SCH this early, so any advice is appreciated.
