This is most likely a stoopid question coming from a low lvl SCH. lol. I know that elemental skill isn't involved in the damage formula of helices. However, my question is that is the resist rate affected by elemental skill? So INT will raise max damage but will elemental skill lower resists?

Yes that's correct. Every point of elemental magic skill raises your magic accuracy by one point (.9 after 200). and every two points of INT gets you one point of magic accuracy, and I don't know how, but it also affects the damage of your nukes. So both will lower your resists, but INT is the only one that raises your damage.

How did you figure out those numbers? Just took same numbers as from melee?

Cause Magic Acc hasn't been proven to be a set amount yet. There have been so many tests but you can't really test it like you can regular acc where you just pile on acc gear untill mob changes con. Shouldn't take those numbers for granted since we still even haven't figured out the correlation between INT and Magic acc or if there even is such a correlation on nukes.

Enough tests have been done over the years to give reasonable certainty to the belief that INT and M.Acc. function the same way that STR and Attack, DEX and Acc., or AGI and Evasion do.

In most nuking circles as of late, this belief has become accepted as true.

But you're right, it's never been proven beyond a shadow of a doubt.
