What type of gear do you wear at between 60-70, particularly the hands and feet. I'm a 68 SCH and all I find on the AH is junky pieces for the gloves and feet. In fact, I am still using my Mycophile Cuffs.

Since we dont have af to look at, I'd say go with whatever works.

I'm using RSE hands and RSE2 feet atm.

If you can get your hands on the Cobra gear lv 55 set. The MP boost sucks, but it has good stats, thats the only thing really good till 71 when our other body pieces are available.

60-70 is barren for most jobs aside from AF. For mages, there's really nothing in this range unless RSE 2 is useful for your class. I know Hume hands are good for instance.

I'm nowhere near 60 atm, but useful pieces I would go for...

Vermillion Cloak - This is the only piece of auto-refresh gear you can get at the moment, it's totally worth picking this up for Scholar. Unless SE suddenly wakes up and lets use use Zenith, god knows why we can't it wouldn't over power us, this is the only gear we'll be able to use for auto refresh other than full yigit, and you don't want to have to put 5 slots on to get auto refresh.

Shaman's Cloak - The Elemental and Enfeebling Skill on this piece make it worth the time camping it due to very little skill gear being available to SCH. Depending on what the body and head AF provide it may become obsolete, but it could likely still be useful.

Druid's Slops - Elemental Skill on these is worth looking into

i dont understand why sch gets no endgame gear. no sky gear(zenith), no sea gear(the ultima set), and no salvage gear, obviously no dynamis gear, and no abj gear from Kings either. so are they gonna put us on something one day or what?

so unless ur counting assault gear, we got nothing...(at least yigit is decent, a goliard might b ok)

back to the OP i use RSE in hands and feet. AF is in a couple weeks tho. so rejoice

I wore Mycophile Cuffs and Seer's feet until 72, when I equipped Errant. There was really nothing that would make a difference.

Pretty much the same as what I did, although if you're nuking another foot option are Mountain Gaiters for +2INT, but level 60+ in most cases if you're in a party, you're probably healing. If you're soloing, that's another option though.

Yeah, I probably should've mentioned that nearly all my parties were main healing.

Yeah not like Mountain Gaiters drop off of Tiamat or anything. I guess if it's an option for you it's not bad.

As far as 75 gear, yeah go for Goliard, Yigit and Errant, that's really all you've got.

I'd say that, if you don't already have Goliard or Yigit, don't try to get it unless you're certain that you want it for some other job. I want to be sure that the AF doesn't, in some way, trump it.

You're thinking of Herald's Gaiters (which I'm very glad SCH can wear, since I gots a pair for my BLM)

Mountain Gaiters Rare
[Feet] All Races
DEF: 7 STR +1 INT +2 Evasion +2
Spell interruption rate down 5%
Lv. 38 All Jobs

And drop from Heliodromos in Riverne #A01

They're pretty solid footwear for BLMs w/o better RSE options. ^^
