Of course, outside of the new jobs I still can pretty much answer "What subs do you have?" with "Yes." so I don't feel too bad, between that and at least 20 days of /playtime fooling around solo (and many days of /subscriptionpaymentsforsquare {Taking a break!})

Well, for a quick background... i've been xping my rdm since lvl 62 by 2boxing it with my blm character. No parties, just me 2 boxing duo and gaining xp that way. I jus dinged 70 last week, so got a test and tried to take maat down. I didn't have time to research a strategy, so I pretty much went in there with a blm mindset (since im blm at heart) and i WHOOPED HIS ASSSSSS. so 1/1 on maat first time fighting as rdm ever.

Then my wifey wanted to play the rdm character while i used the blm character, and we got the rdm to lvl 72 and i got some merits on my blm ^ ^. I'm soooo excited and can't wait to finish getting it to 75. I've got my rdm on Riverne Site #A01 now. I can't wait to take him to limbus with my blm to get him a Loq Earring! yaaaayyyy. : )

Ding NIN37 for subbage. Now, to do some BC's for new gear.

RDM75, now my LS has nothing to b!tch about...yet.

I soloed Vouivre. I straight up tank this dragon, while my friends watched me hacking/wacking/enfeebling it. My friends were admiring the fluidity of my swordskills, and how graceful I wielded my swords. They were amazed to how I perfectly timed the casting of my shadows ,other defenses and enfeebling spells.

Enhancing Sword on one hand.
Joyeuse on the other.
Equipped my melee gears.
Casted Shadows, Stoneskin, Phalanx, Aquavail, Enspell, Ice-Spikes. And full attack it!

And then.....

I lost, lol. Although the bet was if I could last 5mins, and I did. I lasted more than 5 minutes, and then a bomb aggroed me. I could've lasted longer. Then Vouivre tore me apart, while my friends watched me being raped by Voivre, and laughing their @$$e$ off. I got it to 99% HP lmao. I knew I wouldn't dent the big beast lol.

It's all fun and games until you poked a dragon with your pointy swords.

74 is huge for me, I've got 118 game days logged. I play really slow :)

jus wanted to say grats to joecille on the avatar fights! I've been wanting to try that but waiting till i get to 75 first.

Ding 1: Got to 73 this weekend which felt really good, that wuz a hard crunch and many hours ; ;

Ding 2: Got to Diabolos mission on CoP and am looking forward to kickin his arse.

Ding 3: got Apollo's staff and Ugg pendant finally.

Yes I'm gimped bad on subs, but manaburning my way to 75 doesn't need my subs much at all, and I'd rather jus finish getting to 75, then go back and finish off my subs and be done. Especially since I have 4 subjobs to level >< (whm, blm, nin, drk).

congrats pabst. best feeling to have in the game when you beat maat on rdm as your first job. ^^

as for my own, I uh, soloed some Sea Puks the other day for 230 exp a pop to recap my exp after dyanmis. went rdm/blu for some crazy phalanx + cocoon bs. I'm usually a very conservative soloer, only fighting DC's and EM's at most, so my first couple T's got me very excited. XD

Kinda lame in comparision to the other stuff here (my RDM is only level 20), but I've been able to solo Tough gobs in Valkurm Dunes with a little difficulty. As my other two levelled jobs are BLM and WHM, thats pretty much unheard of for me ^^. My friend was levelling Samurai in the dunes, decided to watch my first fight, thinking i would need to call for help. We were both shocked when I managed to kill the damn thing without outside help.

Needless to say, I am loving red mage right now. Not to mention, its pretty damn cheap since I already have a ton of the spells.

Not really the latest, but one that I am still most proud of.

Speaking of that video I was in sky when Geldric was in my linkshell at the time. It was interesting watching him scream bloody murder when he got fausted after Sej died. Latest accomplishment was this.

I got my Joyeuse early this morning, I'm so f@$#%^ happy! I claimed Charybdis and got the final nuke ftw.

I got my Nashira Seraweels and Altrustic Cape in a matter of two weeks.

Now if only relic hat would freaking drop. ><

Finally finished /NIN37 a week or so ago, so this last week I had no major goals so I just ran around doing stuff, finally, for myself and fun.

Soloed the first 6 avatars.
Didn't really have trouble with any of them, only died on Shiva because I was careless and ended up not resisting Diamond Dust at all.

Soloed Bastok 6-2, 7-1, and 7-2
Looking back, I probably could have soloed 6-1 as well, but had already finished that with some friends as we passed by the spot. 6-2 and 7-1 were absolute pushovers, 7-2 was intense and fun because of the 30 min time limit. Barely made it: 28:53 clear time.

Welp, I got sky and killed Genbu with 4 other people all in a couple of hours. That was pretty neat. ^^;

Soloed all the avatars except garuda, I duod that with another rdm/nin/

Capped my Slow II yesterday. Gods, I love that spell. I cast it, and it's almost like I've just stopped time on some mobs, it's a step removed from having gotten the Stop spell.

Farmed up an Ulli pop with SMN/WHM SAM/DRK and myself /NIN. Bard and a NIN came up, we popped ulli. I main tanked with the NIN as back up. Rather fun I must say. Next on my list is a solo Ulli.
