Was second kill, so half the party has apoc atma. We went in with rdm/nin, blm/whm, blm, war, nin, mnk. Our whm sat at the entrance lolololol. Took us 15 mins to proc blue, then i died 2x. The next 5 mins consisted of about 30 deaths while repeatedly voking it off me before i could finally kill it.

20k without ultimate (mm/beyond/apoc atmas), and only lolaquilo's is pretty cool though. Could 2shot the @#%^er on blm lol.

omg cheet ARES!!! HAHa congrats on the sick dmg. Our little shell did rani last night with another shell and man fun fight but his ga's are nasty as hell under 50%. Proc'd all 3 weaknesses but then had to kite him for a while due to heavy deaths. All in all about 2 hour fight. Our whm got hecate's (she is sch too) and I got the drk grip :o Pretty funny shiz.

That's only relevant when brews are 2m, "waste a brew" is hardly applicable anymore. It's like wasting an acestics tonic. And because regardless of what it dropped, I needed it, unless it was scythe.

Torque might be 100% with blue, but it's not 100% without. We've all solo'd it a few times out of boredom, we've gotten belt/cape/neck only without blue.

You said torque is 100%, I was saying it wasn't. My group of friends have solo'd it and gotten belt only, for instance.

And I'm not disagreeing with you entirely, I'm not going to spam it for a 1% chance at body. My point is, when I did the above screenshot, I had nothing from it; no belt, no torque, no cape. There was no negative for me to brew it without blue, regardless of what 1 item may have dropped I needed it. Wasn't a waste of a brew.

Was 3 AM, no one was really on, I didnt wanna go with randoms, and I had no idea how rdm faired with brew. Was more of a "well, this will be fun for 10 seconds and if I get drops cool" kind of thing. I've got plenty of cruor, might be a waste in the long run but no big deal, and I got something I wanted.

Now to spam brew rani for hecates earring.

In your opinion, would a dd or rdm brewing rani have the better chance at success? I've seen 2 rdms fail and 1 dd get it to 5% before brew ended but I think if the rdms took their time and paid a little more attention they wouldn't have cured it for 70% of its hp

Is Pallad Percy worth bragging about? If so I killed it 4 times in the last two days all by myself and it was wicked tough, if not then I killed it 4 times in the last two days and it was Too Weak.

Hecate's Earring: O and rani is most certainly rdm soloable if you pay attention. It's even easier if you can proc grellow.

You just don't understand the roflolz that response caused.

Minikin Monstrosity

Yes, I am that behind-the-times.

Long day. Chanced upon a Beyond PUG, so finally got that out of the way and fetched the Lenity abyssite from Kon I'd been slacking on while there. Spent some time in Grauberg and finished 3 WHM, 2 DRK, 1 BLU, and 2 SAM hand pieces on top of making a small chunk of gil. Took a break to wrap presents, came back to help get 5 lanterns for LS masamune, knocked out the remaining 200 crabs (Chainspell Blizz 4 makes me feel dirty) on my ice staff trial and since I had like 50 excess minutes built up, just went around and did all the Grau Ops, too ([Un]Seelies suck).

Think I'll eat a couple pieces of pizza then go to bed now. z.z

So Break took away any remaining difficulty Charybdis might have had.

Congrats, SS is a good atma for tanking stuff and still being offensive. I dread Bukhis, I need Bukhis wings x50.

On a related note, more of a whm accomplishment but I did Fistule dischargesx50 on my RDM, a lot of them me soloing Fistule rdm/nin straight tanking and nuking while a friend came and diaga'd the babies away. First stage of Emp club done~.

If anyone has any solid lowman strats for Bukhis I'd love to hear them.

How hard was Fistule to straight tank? I'm thinking of working on a Gambanteinn myself, on the Lamprey trial, but pending on how easy/hard Fistule is to do is what's gonna make me choose between Gamba or Canne

Pure DEX/attack setup. I only have +32 DEX though. I need to finish MKD for another +4 and I want to use RDM AF1+1 hands, because they have +6 dex on it (3 more then what I have now in that slot >.>). Doing Limbus just for that seems kinda meh though. I also use a Snow gorget over a Breeze.



It wasn't doom really, it was Lethal Triclip directly after an aga spell. It uses TP moves really frequently though. Nuking it down may be better, I was meleeing. I don't know if i'd be able to nuke very much in between his mass double attacks and aga spells though. CDC was doing pretty impressive damage for RR being my only melee atma. It was very stressful to tank but I did it really well. There really is nothing you can do about aga->ws though. Even utsu ni in fast cast gear doesn't get off that fast sometimes.

Maybe if I had a SMN to hold it while I died or something lol.

We're going to pull it next to a flux and alternate going back for Cruor buffs and see if that makes it any easier. My dual box BRD also has AF3+2 feet now, so hopefully whatever Scherzo+1 does will help.

Oh yeah, tanked Sippoy as RDM/BLU fairly effortlessly, the WHM afk'd for like 3 minutes and I was still okay. I died at 2% though and the BLU finished it off. Got my dual box BRD the neck JSE.

Fistule is 15-30 repop, Guiv is the same

Killed Bukhis two more times today, I rdm/nin melee tanked it both times. Very stressful lowman fight, took about 20 minutes each time. I died the first time and it was kited until I was unweak. The second fight was a lot more smooth and there were no death's until 4%, I didn't die though and we finished it off without too much issue. Think i'm starting to get the hang of tanking him. We killed it with 5 people and me dual boxing my brd (So 6, I guess). 4/6 on feet+2, almost there. One more Bukhis may finish it off.

And grats to Binc on 4/50 Bukhis wings, I guess =p

Decided the best way to get Bukhis done was to farm pops duo with my GF through amber boxes/varney and the easiest way to achieve that was me to level sword/dagger. Took both from 150-> 280~ in one afternoon, and I learned how fun rdm/nin with 19% gear haste, double marches, 25% triple attack, 5% double, and 3% quad attack is with enspells.

Psst.. And you got RDM cape.
