I like the thread in the War forums, so Ive decided to start one here. Since I know I am not the only one who hates making a single thread for their own accomplishment, here is one where we can all post those things we so want to get out.

Whether it is dinging 32 and getting Dispel as your first job, to Maat, to finally getting that Duelist Chapeau after years of Dynamis, post it here and share it with all of us!

I was waiting for a certain occasion of my own to start the thread out, so I will start it with that.

Got Tamas Ring on Thursday. Love that little ring so much =D

I guess the last "big" thing that I accomplished with RDM was duoing Zoraal Ja's Pkuucha with my wife (WHM75 just curing, not meleeing). I was straight tanking and meleeing him RDM/NIN. I don't know if there are any tricks to despawn his little buddy that hits like a truck, but I had to straight tank the bird, then when he's almost dead, he spawns the Mamool in which case I have to sleep the bird (His HP goes back to 100%) and fight the mamool. The bird will wake up several times and cast sleep on you (He's a colibri mob, so he deflects all spells >.>;), and come beat you up... So shadows get raped in a few seconds with both NMs beating you... Interruption is kind of an issue, I had to sleep the bird again and keep on fighting the mamool untill he dies, then go kill the bird. The first time I duod him it took my wife and I about 30 minutes lol... Hmmm... I guess I'll post this on the NMs forums lol...

3. Trio Ix'Aern (MNK)with my friends and got my Merciful cape :D (0/5 on 1 organ and 1/2 on 3 organs.

Finally got my Joyeuse! Got the TOD from a friend and stayed there all night to make sure it didnt pop and get killed while I was alseep, then killed PH's from 10:45am til 3:45 it finally popped on the final window! Also got Evisceration. Solo'd all the avatar's (not Fenrir or Diabolos) and tanked many steelshells for WS/Skill up points in the tree.

Oh, and I get to brag on Fyn while he's out on vacation.

That SOB got his 100th merit not too long ago. x_x;;

Yeah, I'm pretty sure he can be soloed too if you want to try, bring some meds with you. If you bring a friend, have him heal for sure :D.

did an epic trio to brd nin rdm a while ago to get my joy toy, while it poped in my face with no camping more than 20 mins (i was getting a quest in norg lol) involved (luck !), a pt wiping twice (blm pld nin ? lol), me calling my friends wiffing it from them and trioting the fiend. epic, simply epic i was shaking all over.then i partied into davoi with some orcs to celebrate

me building the most awesome cop static i ever made, we are soon going after snoll, tamas ftw ! we did tenzens path and promy vhalz in 1 night. left louverance (easiest) and ulmias path (SNOLL !)

me last night as 01/23/07 getting my duelists tights, since those are random lots they hard to get, too many rdms. that makes me 3/5 AF2s, and im first on priority list and get to choose whether to get chapeau or body first from northlands.

well it's not much, but, we were doing a compulsory sky raid last night and the rdm/drk assigned to chain stun suzaku burned his stun too early so he had a recast during chainspell (tsk tsk) but it wasn't a total loss, I managed to land silence on the big bird mere moments before 2hr, and it lasted well long enough to get stuns recast back. Thank got for capped wind acc and enfeeb merits.

Got my relic hat, loving it and using more MND gear for debuffs, +44 yay.

Also, not quite a rdm accomplishment but my dynamis LS beat Dynamis - Qufim for the first this week with 25 ppl, Dynamis - Tavnasia next week, /cheer!

Trio'ed it. Easy trip, easy fight. 4 days after breaking my latent.

Party: 73RDM/BLM, 73BRD/RDM, 75MNK/NIN.

Course the monk is one of the best on the server. But still, though it would be harder than that with all the caterwauling about how hard this is to get. Originally didn't even plan to get the skill. Just reconnoiter the route to take to get the Altepa gate unlocked. So the 3 of us get together and do the columns one after the other. Then we get through the gate. Well we're here, might as well find the ???. Humm we've found it. Might as well go for it.

One room clearing and one NM fight later and I've got my Annals of Truth or some such. Off to San D'Oria I go. One cut scene later and I've got Savage Blade.

soloed Death from Above to get my own Hornetneedle. after weeks of slaughtering wespes, I go to the temple for a different reason, and the larvae drops after second kill....

was easy ass fight, this is just the latest thing I've done for my rdm ;p

For the first time in quite a while, I did something to make myself feel RDMish instead of refresh/haste whore.

My xp party was fighting shades in Caedarva Mire when a MNK-type ate through our NIN's shadows super-quick then oneshotted him with a TP move. WAR takes the tank job, and the same thing happens to her. THF vokes then flees. Too late, mob drops the THF before he was out of range. BLU, WHM, and me are left standing there. Almost no mp left from tryin to sleep/bind/heal. BLU is getting beat on real bad, so I pop Chainspell. Stoneskin >> Convert >> Divine Seal >> Cure IV. Aero III x3 and mob is dead.

Right about now, I'm feeling pretty good about myself. Then we get aggro by a RNG-type shade. Oh crap, wtf now, everyone is weakened. RDM to the rescue. Phalanx, SS and Blink up. Over-cured the WAR that was tanking it (while weakened) to get hate. THF had me run up to the mob so he could TA off me. WAR, BLU and THF melee'd it to death while I took all the shots. RDM tank ftw! Where was the NIN you ask? Dead. He tried to tank it as well, but died from a critical hit that took all his weakened hp.

Just Dinged 240 on sword skill starting Savage Blade quest tonight ^^
The accomplishment i suppose goes to the fact that i duoed from 160-240 with RDM/NIN (myself) and WHM/NIN (my wife IRL ^^). She is questing Black Halo now as well, and of course has Hexa Strike. Damn WHM doing 1500 DMG lol made me jealous. Anyway grats to all on you latest and greatest. Hope to post again in a week or so, should be 75 by then, just dinged 73 last night ^^ {/wave} {Take care.}


edit: Oh and yes be proud of Mammet fight.... i have died 4 times so far trying to kite that. Oh how I hate CoP lol >.<

And I continue to shake my fist at relic hat. Why SE why? I need it.

Ahhh mebbey not a big deal to most, but

1. Hit 75 with 36 blm sub in 3 months.
2. also brought nin to 37
3. Beat maat on watersday??? and didn't convert,
chainspell or rest (wtf he gives up on 4the aero III)
4. Soloed all the eyes for my cluster.
I found the golden and wooden most difficult.
Anyone got a good strategey on these?

After farming all of the Wooden Eyes for those clusters I did, I would not do it again. I would probably farm all but wooden and buy those. Pain in the ass million eyes. Though the Flare and Fire 4 drops are welcome =)
