Anyone try the new dagger WS to see which of the flourishes (striking, ternary and climactic) possibly works well with it......
The fact that it's AGI mod based kind makes me wonder since most of stuff DNC use is more DEX based.....

Using any of them sacrifices time that you could have used to gain more TP or finishing moves that you could have used to gain more TP. Yeah I don't mind doing quad damage to your back or stabbing you so fast it interrupts your casting. :)

I probably only find it useful on soloing Limbus, but not quite on anywhere else. And given the huge base damage on Exenterator (and hence high closing WS damage), the Fragmentation created by Evis > Exen probably isn't lagging much behind than darkness crated by PK>Evis.

Mostly if I'm on dancer its for solo purpose and have been hitting up dyna alot lately, so darkness is working for me atm, may change as the game changes I suppose.

Yes......do I do it every time I have reverse flourish is up?.... no...but i do often.....
SC (specifcally darkness) is one of DNC's bread and butter....
Those SC makes up for DNC's native low damage...but that's just me...
Of course I'm referring to regular darkness

The situation where I'd put self darkness into practice is where the mob is blind enough/ not dangerous to tank AND DE/Evis only can eat about 25% of its HP max.
For my case, it's an either-or situation.

So does anyone have any numbers for 5/5 Exenterator with Climactic Flourish in Abyssea with Razed Ruins + Sanguine Scythe + Gnarled Horn on a typical weak mob?
I'm planning on spending this weekend meriting it to full (or at least close). I'm not expecting numbers surpassing solo-Darkness. But I'm still hoping for something decent.

It's decent in Abyssea, but can't beat the occasional spike from Evis yet.
