I know the magian daggers are probably much better but would this be useful on dnc?

I'd said its not to far behind magain, esp in abyssea where fSTR is capped mostly.
vs STR magian: +3D and 1fSTR(next tier) = 9.2% / 2 (one of two daggers) = +4.6%
- 19 att = -4% roughly
10.5% slower / 2 (one of daggers) = -5.25%
So roughly 4.65% worse off than STR magian when melee is considered.

46 base damage is rubbish? i know it dont have all the STR and ATK of the Kila +2, but does this mean it is no good?
Would main handing a Angr Harp and off handing a STR Kila +2 not be a good move? would they be 2 good DMG weapons...

It's not garbage now but the Magian daggers will be upgraded further at least two more times (on top of possibly new static daggers to come) while already having lower delay that makes it already better. As far as static daggers go at the moment, I like the Twilight Knife (see thread) as I imagine no other dagger will replace it for its utilities. I think of Angr Harpe as the new Perseus's Harpe that will suffer the same fate.

True and yes all this gear may suffer that fate but hey it's free and takes very little work to attain win win I will get it and the new dnc dagger and the twilight dagger for my collection while peeps grind the trials....

Pretty much this. I see it more like azoth back in the day: pretty good to use if you come across one and you dont have magian daggers, but wouldnt kill myself trying to get one. The kilas will more than likely either match this base damage or exceed it while having lower delay and better stats, but not wrong to use this as a placeholder until then.

I imagine the Kilas will only goto lvl 95 and probably have 45 base damage on them but im not sure that they go beyond that...
I think this is why they curently have +9 stats on them... like AGI +9, STR +9, VIT +9 etc... so they will go to level 95 and have +10 on them > end.
My 'guess' is they will look like this...

I have twilight knife and auric dagger.
I would making consider 1 (maybe 2) Kilas for evasion set but am I pretty much set with that combo for general purposes?
Seems pretty hard to beat with the benefits the combo gives.
