The "STP doesn't matter for 1H weapons" stance is a little bit old-hat. STP matters just as much for increasing WS frequency for 1H weapon users as 2H weapon users, but before Abyssea it wasn't worth trading off any Accuracy, Haste, etc for STP due to 1H users lower average WS and the need for every bit of Accuracy/Haste/etc that we could get our hands on.

"How much TP do you get per hit" is a bit of an open ended question, because it matters how much dual wield you use, what you sub, what your main hand is, etc.

15 STP on Fusetto +2 (with 15 STP from AF3+2, 5 from Rajas, and 1 from Brutal) with 48% Dual wield (Suppa, AF3+2 body, AF3 neck) and Kila+2/Fusetto+2 is:
(190+186)*.52/2 = 97 delay
(97-180)*1.5/180+5 = 4.3 TP/hit base

4.3*1.36 = 5.8 TP/hit = 15 hits to 100 TP assuming full TP return on Evisc
4.3*1.21 = 5.2 TP/hit = 17 hits to 100 TP assuming full TP return on Evisc

So 15 STP is almost a 13% increase in WS frequency in this case. This is kinda why the WS damage Fusettos are silly.

If you plug different numbers into the equations, you can recalculate for different combinations.

For example, Trial 25, best place to go is Attowha Chasm and you didn't even mention that one. Wind weather there is more common than the other suggestions and the mobs are easier.

I actually agree to a point. I didnt mean this list to be set in stone law that people should absolutely follow. And of course you can look up other spots on wiki that may better suit your needs.

Really the absolute best spot for any trial will depend on the situation. Most of the time when i did these trials, i either was completely solo and didnt have people competing with me for kills, or i had a full alliance slaughtering everything in sight. With the introduction of abyssea more people started to just use xp parties to get their weapons done. Whatever works best for people should be the path they choose.

With that said, I'll still update the guide if they keep expanding the trials with mob kills. If people want to keep using it, great. If they find better spots, more power to them.

One thing that the Wiki tends to fall behind on are good camps in abyssea zones for certain trials. This doesn't quite apply to the wind trials as much since wind weather is pretty plentiful in certain non-abyssea zones, but for many different fire trials (and other elemental trials too), going in to abyssea on firesday would really be the best option, especially for those with 3/3 atmas and capped abyssites.

This guide was created nearly a year ago. We were discussing camp spots here AS we were discovering them. The info was not on the wiki for one to just go and look up.

The people discussing them in this thread are also the people that did a lot of updating to the wiki.
