Possible to blink through Dance Animation?Follow

I am trying to set up a macro so I can pull a mob on Sam/Dnc and use Spectral Jig as I'm running away. I want to be able to do a gear swap so I can blink through the animation so I don't stop running. I've tried using fractions of a second with Windower but I cant seem to get it to work. Does anyone know how I can pull this off or have any tips?

There IS a way of doing this, but it requires you to mess up with the .Dats and could be considered cheating.

IMO, intentionally DAT swapping to remove animations to make a JA instant is an exploit, and is simply cheating. And if I am a GM and caught someone doing that, that guy is going to GM Jail.

If too much people doing it, you guys are just making SE to do something about this and that may completely broke DAT swapping for cosmetic purposes, which is completely harmless (I do not do DAT swapping myself, but I know how to do it). And A LOT OF PEOPLE really will not like that to happen. And if way too much people are really abusing DAT swapping, I am in a favor DAT swapping should go down the road of Salvage duping, MPK patch, or Rune Chopper.

You can't blink Cures? O.o I blink the animation for it a lot in gear swaps in battle, never tested it when not in battle though...gonna have to try now and see if I can do it out of battle, lol.

I do not always agree with your opinions, but you always think independently you say, and say what you want to say. Something that is really absent in these boards and in RL.

Anyway, I first read about a possible way to glitch the animation BG last week. I really hope SE can fix this without messing up Dat modding in general as it is one of the biggest fan based past time in the game.

It sucks that in a game, people will find anyway to get ahead. Dancer JAs are already very good and well developed (DNC is probably one of the most complete expansion jobs ever being released in terms of not needing subsequent nerfs and buffs). And people still wanted more!

I do not think any one is singling on DNC, but this is a DNC forum, and I can see a lot of use more than what OP wanted to do will make breaking animation sequence be outright cheating. (It would make DNC be one of the better kiters in the game)

To closest job that I can think of from benefiting breaking the animation is COR. COR rolls and Quick Draw also froze the COR till the card animations are finished. If COR has Skadi boots, it will make COR a solo master on enemies that have no enhanced movement speed.

Anyway, if dances and Corsair rolling is broken too much, it is for sure making SE to nerf it. Well "nerf" is probably a bad word, because it is a glitch in some ways. But this is a different type of glitch compare to duping in Salvage, because the dat files are working as intended but it is just the dat files do not check themselves if they are being modified, it is not like items are not supposed to drop 2-3 times as a bug on SE server. Anyway, I do not think Corsairs and Dancers wanted to be stuck with the curse of unable to preform unless standing still first.

PS: And one thing... am I not surprised when I looked at the OP's character profile with all those top tier E-Peen gear ... and wanted to do this kind of glitching

Ha ha, seriously. Why does the +movement speed dance of all things root you in place for a good 5-6 seconds first?
