A friend of mine and I were talking earlier about the new Dancer job, and thought...

What if SE throws us a curveball and makes dancer much like Mog was in FFVI? He was a major damage dealer, debuffer, and all around great addition to the team.

Any thoughts?

Edit: Ignore the below sig, as it is old as dirt =P

Well, there's actually a fairly good chance that Dancer is a tank job. Tanks through a mixture of Evasion and making the mob stare dumbfounded in a sort of morbid horror.

Dancer was the only job I never used in FFT.

BTW, Dancer is going to be @#%^ing weaksauce. SE should focus on cleaning and meshing their other classes before slopping one or more into the mix. If I wanted to play a bunch of obscure jobs, I'd pick up EQ2 again.

YOU MEAN YOU DON'T THINK A DIRGE AND A TROUBADOR ARE TWO DIFFERENT CLASSES?

I can see it now...

Dancer readies "Break Dance"
Dancer begins to "Break Dance"
Degamorth begins to feel the rhythm!
Degamorth begins to dance.
Degamorth loses focus on mob and tanking abilities.
Degamorth is defeated by the Wild Rabbit.
Party wip.
Wild Rabbit begins to feel the rhythm!
Dancer and Wild Rabbit begin doing the mambo.
Dancer is booted from the party.

Rinse and repeat.
