Bought the Seeker's Expansion and will download it overnight, will be back to phoenix once more.

any recomendations for a fresh returnee?

last time I played was shortly after seeker's came out.

make sure to start Records of Eminence and Trust... that would be my advice. Can knock out some quests in Records of Eminence and get yourself a basic ilevel gear set so that you can participate better in newer content.

what would be my priority? getting one of the new animators sounds like a must.

Farm sparks for Espial set, eminent h2h, and animator. The set should be decent enough to get into skirmish II groups for armor or sacred kindred crest nm runs to reforage af/relic to iLvl 109.

You can also consider starting meeble burrows - most of the rewards are pretty meh but you can solo it somewhat - and low-man what you can't solo - and an even is coming up that will allow you to trade currency that drops there for a chance at some nice goodies.
