Creative things you've done w/ AutomatonFollow

I've finally been getting my pup up to snuff lately.

I've always been interested in it and followed the pupdates for the last few years. I brought pup up to level 20 a few years ago, and then 40 last year, and w/in the last few months especially the last couple weeks I've been leveling it some more and I hit 75 today.
(YAY for MERIT Abilities!)

I'm having alot of fun with it. This is easily jumping into my top 3 jobs (BST & BLU being other 2).

I've been re-reading the basics and comparing heads/frames today (such as elemental capacities, AI behavior, & spell lists).
I notice Harlequin frame has Ranged skill. If you put sharpshot head on harlequin frame, can it do ranged attacks? I would not think so, which is why I wonder why it has Ranged skill?

Mostly, I'd love to hear about the fights where using non-standard head/frame combinations has worked well and what other pups have done w/ 'em.

The other really popular option is valor head on sharpshot frame, because of the extra fire slots as well as the fact that your automaton will always run into melee range. Therefore gaining tp faster.
