Guys,

I'm at level 50. I have all these frames and heads . . . any weird-ass combinations that I should consider? I mostly solo, sometimes with my fellow too.

Like if I put a spiritreaver head with a harlequin body, does that work? Perhaps you can point me to a sticky. I figure before I start messing around, I should find out what has been tried.

The only mixed combination that seems to work well is Valoredge head + Sharpshot body, for very fast paced parties, specially those where the mob moves around somewhat frequently. Since you won't have to worry about positioning your auto, your performance increases even if the ranged skill is reduced and the time between shots increases. It does increase the melee skill, too which is great if your auto is low on acc.

For solo, there isn't any strange combination worth using. Just deploy Soulsoother/Stormwaker or Stormwaker/Stormwaker (depending on how much the mob spams enfeebles, basically), and you're set.

Valoredge head on Stormwaker body will cure without silencing crabs or silence-resistant NMs. However it's only Cure IV and will only be cast on you, not any other party members. So it's situational.

Valoredge head also has a fairly long global casting timer, iirc, so it won't cure as often.

Spiritreaver head on Harly body will give lower tier nukes (due to lower magic skill). This can work in situations where your puppet's AI makes it try to cast funny nukes, and something lower actually works better. For some reason, I remember doing this on Roc and (I think) on some T3 ZNM boss, but can't say exactly why.
