fixing to start the game fresh. whats the easiest or best way to keep both magic and the shart shot ranfed skikled uo so i dont fall behind
yes, but as i'm going to be starting fresh i was looking for a way to keep them from falling behind, all those links which i read already look to be for higher lvls. my pup will be starting from lvl 1
Dustin, first off thank you for the forum drop.
Level a job to 90 sub pup, and get a mob, let it whack you while your automaton skills. Go for mobs that are 10 lvls above your automatons skill level. Simple as that. Use provokes or other enmity stuff to keep the mob on you.

that would work but i want my first to 90 to be PUP, but i guess i can just solo easy prey to skill my ranged skill up
Seriously go read those 3 threads.
You will notice 1 thing:
There is no easy way to skill up ranged, not without abyssea and some atma.
Mage is easy and in the other posts there are low level ways mentioned in how to skill it up
Just take turns with the pets, and dont do abyssea and youll be fine on skills, if you do abyssea, you WILL be playing catch up. So its your choice

Question. How will you be leveling pup? In abyssea, or old school?
Mage and melee will come pretty easily, since VE melees so often, and because even if you are fighting really weak mobs when soulsoother cures you it read you as em+.
As Dustin said, especially since this will be your first 90.

unless abyssea can be solo'd i'm more of a casual player with limited playtime so i probaly using FoV to lvl
Using FoV/GoV you will do pretty good exp per hour and, just cycle your automatons as needed.
Sub /DNC when you are using other automatons other than soulsoother, and since you will be soloing (which I highly approve of) all automaton skills should be easily capped before you level once more.
