I'm having trouble finding these weather effects and after several hours of wandering around areas spending an hour or so not having any luck at all. Any ideas?

Rolanberry Fields [S] outside Crawlers Nest. It is occasionally water weather and the crawlers there are Easy Prey at 75.

IIRC, crawlers in Boyada tree are often under water weather.

Thanks for the advice. Maybe I was unlucky with Rolanberry{S} because it didn't rain for 2 hours and I gave up.

I'm not sure about the tree itself, but I know that Zi'tah has more rain in the in-game months ranging from April to July (done a LOT of Noble mold camping). It wouldn't surprise me if the weather patterns in the tree are similar.

How do you tell which in-game month it is? I tried Rolanberry{S} for another hour or so and zip. Looks like summer:D

It rains often year round in Zi-tah, but it does it the most in those months.... as part of Noble Mold's ridiculous spawn pattern (it's probably the hardest NM in the game to realistically camp... harder than Taisaijin, but not as bad as Voluptuous Vilma or Defoliate Leshy). I honestly don't know if anyone's ever documented weather variances in any other months there or at all in any other zone. Even during the rainy season, it's sometimes actually thunder weather with on-screen rain rather than actual water weather.

The whole purpose of my earlier post was to point out that it might help, but there's no way to know if weather patterns can be predicted for a particular month in a particular zone for sure without actually watching the weather for a zone constantly over the period of several in-game years... and each year is a little over 2 weeks IRL.

Basically, if you're planning on doing several trials in the future that might require the same weather, try to document when you saw that weather and see if there's a pattern you can use in the future... I'm sorry I couldn't offer better advice than that.

If you do both Trial 83 and 116, you can do goobbues during thunder and crawlers during rain in the boyahda tree. They are next to each other, so little time is wasted walking around.

Sync to a level 28, and go to Passhow. It rains nearly constantly. The other places that they've mentioned above rain sparsely.

Do the trials count if the weapon is sync'd to a lower level?

Highly recommended. Don't waste your time waiting on weather when you could knock out this trial in an hour or two, while doing pages.
