ideas about ppmFollow

ok mnk main, i figure any job that uses h2h as a main weapo is fun so im betting Puppetmaster will get all the ws's maybe an A- - B rating?

stats:

not sure, im betting AGI or DEX based though
like if the PPM/PUP/w/e the **** you wanna call it was using those lil wodden control thing-a-ma-bobbers

puppets:
in ammo slow most likely
Tank Style: heavier set, less attack, higher def/HP
Melee Style: prolly the one in the pic, higher atk HP, lower def
support style: might heal, might buff, might debuff not sure

from what i've read about the demo, the puppet was copying Mr. Taru's moves, so i think that maybe the puppet is like a blu? tank coppies self/pary buffs, melee coppies attacks, support coppies healing/enfeeb/buffs

ja's: more like pet style moves, maybe spells

2 hour:
Marionette(sp?) mastery
doubles all of your puppet's stats for 5 mins

lvl 35 in costume!
puppet copies and uses the last abbility used by the enemy
dur: n/a recast: 7 mins

lvl 43 Profession Puppet
increases accuracy of dances

Puppet spells/abbilities

lvl 5 puppet punch
puppet punches the enemy

lvl 10 Puppet charge
puppet charges the monster and attacks with a head **** (similar to voke) minimal damage

heal HP and MP to party members

puppet dances possibly causing the monster to slow from laughter
dur: n/a recast: 40 seconds

lvl 18 Awkward Dance
puppet dances possibly lowering a random stat of the enemy

lvl 22 Scary Dance
puppet doesn an intimidating dance possibly causing paralysis

puppet does a dance with the chance of stunning the target until it is hit by a melee or magic attack

puppet does a dance with the chance of putting the enemy to sleep

I just wanna see you be able to channel into your puppet and take it over like it was your character for a limited time, letting you explore areas with no risk to yourself. And, well totally controlling it's abilities and skills if you don't normally have that much control.

Also, puppet suits crafted by various crafts and alchemy sub to change your puppet's appearance and abilities I.E Smithers recipe with an iron ingot in it, changes your puppet into an iron puppet with, say, better attack stats and abilities.

How about if the PC had to set JA/Magix from their subjob?
Eg:

PPM/BLM
Puppet Abilities:
Fire
Water ect...
I'd say the Puppet would have around 5 slots to equip subjob abilities and can be used once every ten minutes or so..what with what the puppet usually does.
again...
Example:
PPM/SAM
Third Eye
Tachi: Enpi
ect...
no TP store so it would gather TP like a regular job.

PPM/WAR
Provoke
Berserk
ect..

I quite like the idea of it like that.

if anythin its gona end up as ppm/mnk just for the h2h bonuses
the demo made it pretty obvious they use h2h

I think the subjob idea makes alot of sense.

Maybe the puppets will be like a puppet for each job. Not neccesarily ammo slot, but like a JA on timer(like a job ability summon).

It would be interesting as a tank but if the puppet itself doesnt provoke... But then again if the puppept had the abilities of a subjob or was like Warrior puppet. that would be cool. The idea of a mimic could be interesting, fighting crabs and using defense boost would be nifty.

I guess no matter how you guess, PM is going to be rather adaptable- hopefully anyway
