Hi guys, I'm looking into the COR job right now but my biggest issue is the lack of bullets being put on AH. I'm on odin btw. I looked into it via ffxiah.com and the rate that people sell bullets past bronze is extremely slow. Do all the CORs craft their own? Is there another way I'm missing? Like maybe a npc that actually sells bullets, I was unable to find one.

Thanks for any info.

If you want a steady supply of high-end bullets, your best bet is to acquire the materials yourself and make friends with someone that can craft them for you at cost.

That said, the other option is to make an Armageddon; Wildfire is unaffected by bullet DMG, making Bronze your default bullets. If you want to use better bullets for TP feel free, but personally, I only ever use COR for Voidwatch/Brewing, both of which don't require you to shoot for TP, so I don't really bother. Make sure you carry some good bullets for Quick Draws, though.

MACC is a joke, any job with access to mage gear can hit close the MACC cap on legion mobs, which is why my BRD/RDM can land slow/para/blind despite having only 150 skill (from /RDM.)

South gustaberg has a Bronze Bandolier inside brown caskets that can create 50 stacks on bronze bullets at 1 stack/day. You can dbox the belts to yourself so you can have many belts. Can take a while to get one though; I got two during a mog tablet thingie period for bastok in a couple hours. Was boomeranging mobs in an area devoid of people low lvling; mostly worms so I could make ingots->bullets from ore drops as well.

I personally craft mine, but in the past I had to put a lot of time into leveling the synthing skills to do it (Alchemy and Synergy), and I still have to borrow a friend for the Smithing part.

i think most people over look the fact that you wanted to start to play corsair. Most early marksmanship weaponskill just blows so for me i just skilled up with ranged attacks and then used fastblade. When you hit to lvl 22 then you see a jump in the damage from new ammo and better guns.

I can craft steel, bronze and regular bullets. Have a LS mate that crafts me synergy bullets.

It's not hard to level the crafting skill to make bronze and steel bullets.

Now that we know what SE has for us as a level 99 bullet I might finally take up synergy GS and alchemy to make the O. Bullets.

You can purchase regular ol' Bullets from NPCs in two towns, iirc.

Checking Wikipedia confirms 4 of them (2 are Tenshodo merchants), so Norg, Nashmau, Bastok and Rabao.

The price listed is 58-110 gil a bullet, which makes a stack around 11k. On Sylph, the AH cost is 10k for a stack of those.

On my previous character, I leveled alchemy to make my own, and actually sold quite a few stacks and bags of bullets, it was pretty lucrative, but crafting is not exactly palatable to everyone.

Edit: Holy damn, first page, and still a 4 month-old necropost? Sorry about this guys :o
