Hi!

I've taken a liking to Corsairs but I seem to be having a gigantic problem...Leveling.

Corsairs aren't that good at soloing at lower levels and doing it results in very slow killing.
I'm lvl 47, I was at Eastern Altepa killing spiders. I hit 2.0k exp per hour, that means 4 hours for 1 level.
That is just so very wrong.
I tried shouting for parties, but who in the world parties nowadays outside of aby?
I found a party but I had to end up leaving so I could powerlevel them.
I shout for Aby parties, no sireeee I get ignored.

So is there any way I can solo as a Corsair or am I going to have to bite the bullet and pay to be a box person in Aby?

Thanks.

Unless yoy have a second account to pl your self abyssea or forming your own pts is the only way. That and you may look at changeing mobs.

The trick, honestly, is to be in an established run and, with just the right timing, cap out the job you're on and ask to switch to your COR. Make zero mention of its level, just let people blindly agree.

Sorry for the necro post.

Just thought that this was relevant because I was having the same problem.

If you can't join an existing Aby group...make your own and be the leech, that's what I did.

Another option is to ninja change into COR after you cap merits or something and make no mention of it's level or even say your going to do it. You'll just have to be as nondescript as possible while playing your meriting job so noone notices when you suddenly aren't doing anything.

Look into Grounds of Valor. Alliances there can make very good xp/hr (not as good as aby but better than soloing FoV pages).
Once you hit 65, Camapign is now a reasonable solution to get to 80 and after 80, its not hard to get a spot in an Aby alliance

Try to go to popular GoV areas such as Garlaige citadel/crawler's nest, then team up with other players doing GoV in same area. You should lv much faster than 2k EXP/hr that way.

Another way is abby leeching, if you see any LSmates/friends in Abby, ask them to let you join or something.

Third way is to make your own abyssea pt, your pt you leech. Although it can take quite a while to make one.
