Pricey ammo a thing of the past?Follow

Clearly Steel Bullet Pouches are dropping from campaign at rates that outstrip demand at least on Ifrit server.

Currently 37 pouches for sale and the price has fallen to 10k/pouch. I expect it will fall further in the next week as people are still doing tons of campaign. Unfortunately it kills the market for some alchemists, but there obviously wasn't a big market for steel bullets anyway.

I guess whether the price will get so low it will kill the brass bullet and iron bullet market. If it drives those prices down by comparison, it will be hard to make a profit. Low level COR's still need those bullets but higher level COR's will be just as well off shooting COR and Steel bullets for farming and pulling and the like.

It's going to be an interesting couple weeks to see where these things go. I also see the pixie weapon prices falling pretty soon since the mats to make them are dropping in price as 30-50 of them enter the AH at a time from campaign. Still won't make the Fane Hexagun worth it, but I'm interested in the RDM sword and RNG Bow.

Already getting a few Corsair Bullet Pouches and Steel Bullet Pouches..getting gouged is definitely a thing of the past :D

How many are up for sale on Seraph? On Ifrit there is over 30 pouches (previously there was never more than 3-6 pouches for sale at a time).

Unless the COR's on Ifrit start to shoot more or horde cheap bullets, the price si going to come down. Most COR's either /WHM and support or /NIN and pull on Ifrit. I'm usually only firing steel for WS's but if the price keeps falling I know I'll be shooting a lot more.

Indeed. On Shiva there have been very few Imp Wootz Ingots on the market since the update since all the smithies have been jumping on the Pixie Weapon sything banwagon (until this weekend it was a much better profit margin).

Although this drives the price higher on the ingots....another 1.2 mil to farm to finish skadi body.

Corsairs bullets are still 25k on Ifrit but there is far more on the server than ever before. I suspect prices will start dropping soon. Steel bullets are 10k on Ifrit and iron bullets at 9k and regular bullets are 8k. Won't be long before I'll be farming with steel if they drop below regular bullet prices.

Actually yeah, Corsair Bullets are good TP and WS ammo 57+ (especially since steel are too @#%^ing expensive to casually use these days) so if they're cheaper you can guarantee Cors will buy em up. I know I am.

Just slightly better than ironl, and for a long long time will be more in stock than iron is at least on phoenix lately.

If it was 100% recycle, you would only need bullet for campaign. Well...I guess 4 if you want to Barrage.

True. Except for those times the campaign battle ends just as you hit your RA macro.

Just slightly better? 2 more damage and +25 Racc is a lot more than 'slightly' in my opinion. XD

Well it looks like on Ifrit the price on Steels has bottomed out around 7k/pouch.

Now that's a far more reasonable price for this bullet. unfortunately the price depends on the amount of people doing campaign and that hasn't really lessened a whole lot. It's still very busy 24/7, so i think these prices will hold for a good while. I'm stocking up nonetheless lol.

Suprisingly on Ifrit the COR bullet price has remained at 20k a stack as people are buying them at that price. While they are a very good option for mid-level COR's with an M Kris. I'm not sure I'd shoot a 20k/stack bullet fulltime.
