I saw a post a bit down that says their's did like 15-20 w/ a fairly good set up... :P sooo

Just thought i'd ask... how much does your quick draw do on sayyy Kirin?

(Just hit cor 70 today :3 almost there >_<)

and also do mobs build resist. against the dmg?

I know it's stupid but i was bored and was thinking if the #'s were high enough QD burn ; ;... points for creativity

I'm only 71 but..with not the best setup in the world for it yet and without /RDM I deal between 170-280ish damage on QD in exp.

As for building resistance? Not sure I'm mostly saving QD for dispel/sleeping so I never exactly 'QD back-to-back', but I guess it depends if the mobs have a natural magic resistance like colibri. When I did shoot say ice shot back to back I got consistant damage, so I'm not sure if they do. A QD Burn? Sounds..suicidal but could be fun o.O

Sky/Sea wise I can't fully say, but low 100s is typical of what I'm seeing from my COR friends. I guess if you really want to maximize it you would likely sub RDM or BLM. I get to try tonight though, so should be interesting, not expecting too high of numbers till 75 with more agi and magic attack gear available.

In sky, Byakko is the only one I have problems with QD damage.

vs Kirin, sub /whm, rolling evokers/warlocks, using wind shots, highest I've seen myself do is about 310. Going to try /blm next time, and rolling wizards.

To be honest i don't bother measuring since i rarely go /rdm. On kirin i actually went /rng for giggles; i wasted mucho ammo that day. i prolly did about 250 but my dedication to build a QD set is low, i have no room for it and it costs a bomb for damage that nobody is likely to notice.

On Jailor of Love recently i also went /rng and my average shot dmg ranged from 5-20. Win! That said, my Nyzul Weaponskill (forgot the name, been awhile) did about 300-400 dmg. Leaden Salute - just remembered.

If i had a Dark Staff Equiped, used the right gorget, had a solid AGI build i could prolly push that up to 500. It might be a good idea for me to take a huge amount of sleep pots next time and a Opo necklace since the only dmg was comming from QD shots and WS.

To me, making a QD build is the thing i'm looking forward to most atm. Other than maybe Kirin, in which I'll Chi Blast as my ls kites him, and my Chi setup allows me to drop 1.5K blasts, I want COR to be my main end game job now.

I took great pleasure in making a Chi Blast build, but making a proper QD build seems a little more special to me. Its easy to gear for merits /RNG, but I want a spot in the main alliance for every end game stuff I do as COR, so making a QD build is something I cannot wait for.

Gogo QD Mirke!

Thats cool man, i'm just too lazy.

For the same reason i never bought a chi blast set of gear for mnk, i just went to gods as another job mostly. I just hate the idea of spending millions of gil for something that is going to take up valuable inventory space so that i can only get the benefit out of it very rarely.

But fire and brimstone, hardcore ffxi players are more than likely to call me gimp for it.

It's way more effective to /rng and DD kirin than QD-onry, unless you kite it with no buffs and take an hour per pop.

I'd have thought /WAR would be better for Kirin. I don't think /RNG acc bonus would be enough to eat meat with.
