Canvas toile eluded me so long I have enough ABC's to AF+1 everything lol. Maybe I'll get a Brutal earring for giggles.

Sexy boots though. I'm one belt away from being pretty comfortable with my COR gear, although I'd really like some W legs. I've got the Kirin points but keep losing lot when they drop.

I finally got Skadi's Chausses. Its really the only piece of salvage armor I've been after since salvage was introduced. I've been just waiting on the 35s to drop for close to three years.

Breeze Gorget this weekend. Yes i know Light is better but I just didn't think I could get 2 Yovra organs in a reasonable time since it took me some time just to get one UFO hunting group together.

I just got mt Light Gorget the other week. AS for the Yovras I just had a MNK friend dual box them as MNK and RDM, he was doing the OM ones. Really a COR /(MNK/NIN/THF) / RDM can take them out no sweat. Monk Roll is your friend.

We came pretty close to dying to an Om'Yovra as a group of 3 BLM's, 1 PLD, 1 RDM and 1 WHM. Maybe we didn't have a great strategy but that Charm thing was a pain in the ass. Guess if we'd tried sleep/nuke rather than T2T it might have worked better. Nonetheless, it took 6 months to get this group together. I'll live with Breeze for now.

We just had the MNK in range for charm and kited the thing around, it moves pretty slow with movement speed. I understand getting the organs is pretty gay.

Randomish question: Where do folks go to solo their Apollyon piece? Wiki seems to indicate that the Jidra floor is the best chance for Canvas Toile..

And on topic, went 1 for 18 on getting my Aptant: Pera for my Ebon Jerkin^^
0/14 off Martinet, 1/2 off Nargun(sp), 0/2 off CN Scorpion (though did get an Aptant Ishis off my last scorp).
Went 0/15, registered for my first ever hunt on the scorp, got Ishis to drop, then went 0/1 on Martinet, and 1/1 Nargun.... Probably just my luck correcting itself to reflect 10% drop rate, but when I go for more Aptant, I'm definitely getting the placebo of the Hunt Registered;p

After anything? That always drove what I solo'd. Took me like 12 Chigre's and 12 Wulgaru's to finally get Legion a couple months ago; that was the last drop I felt I needed. I think messing around with these VNM might be fun though, if you're bored.

Grats on the pants, but that sounds rough.. Sky and multiple lots. Would probably weigh my psyche down, lol.

@ashael, wish I had Limbus solo experiance.. But I knew long ago a COR was never going to be able to do what a BLM/SCH/RDM can do in there. When I see a BLM solo Apollyon NE or NW, it seems really fun - one of the few times where I'm envious of another job class.

I actually really like Sky. Far more than dyna. But yeah, our LS lot list for fast pants, kitty pants and K. Osodes is a bit obscene. I've had a ton of points on Kirin and finally got W. legs over one year after I started doing sky. Still need Osode for RNG.

I think the VNM's move fast so I'm not sure they are the best solo experience for a COR. I was thinking doing the Rover Glove NM. He apparently loses claim a lot but I doubt he'd be heavily camped on my server.

Yeah, not trying to solo it on COR, just trying to find out where the best place to duo/trio for the Toile would be. Very limited playtime, just trying to maximize my chances;)

I had helped a friend with it recently, but in order to get there quickly I didn't have time to gear QD. Still, I saw enough 100-something damage QDs to think that with an impeccable Acc set, it may be decent.

Maybe. I have this macc+2 belt and tried it with my MAB belt....but...SMN does consistent 600+ Predator Claws and Samurais 900+.

Usually we're SMN heavy b/c it's nice and safe. My QD is so horrible in comparable damage.

Yes it included the VNMs. Obviously can't straight kite since they move fast, you need to use the pinning method. You will need to burn powder boots to make the pulls, I had to use up to 4 powder boots in a row a couple times. I did most of them cor/rdm.

For the longest time whenever I'd try to manually unequip them, I'd choose the wrong one first and it wouldn't work.. Only recently have I trained my brain to work which one to select first. Do try to avoid this pitfall!

Armageddon lvl. 85 complete!

I never expected these kind of numbers! With Beyond/Ultimate/Lone Wolf and /rdm, Wildfire is doing consistant 5k-ish damage to NQ mobs. Absolutely unreal.

Finished Stage 1 Armageddon this weekend along witha freinds stage 1 fudo. Stage 2 will be msotly through shot groups since we are focusing on glavoid spam currently for twashtar and gaxe for 2 others in the group.

50/50 on gems, stage one complete
1/50 on lanterns, LS doesnt seem interested in Fish.

Is there any easy way to get Heqet's KI? or is it just red proc and kill? I mostly ask because my only other melee jobs are BST and MNK neither of which can cover a vast number of red proc's

As to the question yes heqets item is only through him i believe and really its a lot faster if yOu have friends to proc. We farmed 7 pop sets yesterday in about 80min from scratch. Had 3 people farming cheakmeat since its still exspensive and 3 people camping heqet.

Thf mnk nin war whm whm and a drk mule we had leeching.

For boss we did thf nin brd blm whm rdm.

Second stage is quite easy. A ninja and a whm can duo the fish and frog. The HQ Orobon drops +2 items for blm and ninja. Shout for people and offer them in exchange for farming pop sets.

Depending what job you have you can solo all KI NM and CC itself, just burns the stones like no tomorrow.

Shout is a bit luck dependant. You can usually get ppl for CC easy if you already have a pop set, but not everyone would be interested in helping with KI farm especially if there's competition for heqet. And you don't always got good jobs like NIN WAR BLM from /shout.
